Large Group Rental Information

The Log Cabin and Campsite is a basic self-catering facility managed by an experienced warden who lives on the site. A visit by leaders before-hand will help in the preparation of a programme of activities and will enable them to become aware of what is available both on site and locally.

The Log Cabin can accommodate up to 20 people. Groups need to bring with them their food, sleeping bags, pillow cases, toiletries, towels and a first aid kit. The kitchen is fully equipped although you need to bring tea towels, washing up liquid and dustbin liners.

The campsite is spacious and suitable for large groups and the Norman King Centre offers a fully-equipped kitchen, men's, ladies and disabled toilets and showers and a large multi-purpose room

In front of the Log Cabin is a tarmac area, which can be used for sports. It must be supervised at all times and the appropriate footwear worn. There are pleasant walks and trails in the woods.

The Tent Village with tents fitted with bunks and a fully equipped Kitchen/Mess Marquee for up to 106 campers, ideal for school groups, scouts and guides and DOE on expedition. If your group want to bring their own camping equipment we have loads of space.
