Large Group Rental Information:

Charming Grade II listed large house, set in 3 acres exotic sub tropical Italianate gardens with terraces of mimosa, eucalyptus and palm trees leading down to the sea. Haulfryn translates as "sunny hill" and refers to the SE facing aspect that Haulfryn House enjoys, with the Gulf Stream induced mild climate of Abersoch on the Lleyn Peninsula, Wales. Wonderful in summer and a relaxing haven year round.

Haulfryn House is superbly situated, tucked away in a quiet location, yet within 200 metres of Abersoch village shops and restaurants, and 2 minutes from safe sandy beach via private path through dunes. Ideal for family get togethers, the extensive gardens offer great potential for groups to "do their thing" but still be around each other.
Accommodation comprises "The House" and 2 adjoining self-contained apartments "The Patio" and "The Dovecote"; sleeping 12, 6 & 6 respectively.

All boast fantastic sea views over the dunes, Abersoch moorings, St Tudwals Islands and Cardigan Bay. The info on this site refers to "The House" part of the property which retains many original features including decorative fireplaces, period plaster work, beamed ceilings and parquet flooring. The entrance hall leads into a large comfortable lounge affording fabulous views, with door leading out onto sun terrace and gardens. Enjoy a roaring log fire on cooler days. Adjacent to the lounge is a second sitting room: ideal for groups of different ages; and a large fully-fitted kitchen: a great social space overlooking gardens and conservatory. Spacious dining conservatory captures the evening sun and seats 12 comfortably round large table, also having separate seating area. There is access from here to the sun terrace and gardens, with BBQ and seating areas as well as all-weather tennis court, croquet, badminton and many adventures for little ones

Dining Room:  Dining conservatory off kitchen provides a wonderful ambiance, surrounded by the beautiful scenery and with doors out to the sun terrace and gardens
Sitting Room: Spacious lounge overlooking sea. Grand open fireplace, oak flooring, beam ceiling. Door to sun terrace & gardens. Connecting door to 2nd sitting room.
TV and Music Facilities: Digital TV and DVD player in both lounge and second lounge. Free wireless Internet connection
Heating/Open Fires:  Large, working open fire place in main lounge. Decorative fireplaces and central heating throughout the rest of the house.
Bedrooms: 5 Twin and 1 double bedroom with en-suite upstairs and 1 twin bedroom downstairs. All have really lovely views and are spacious with plenty of storage
Linen: Bedlinen is provided but we ask guests to provide own towels and tea towels. Laundry room (washer/dryer) available for guests use at a small charge
Bathrooms: 3 Bathrooms(one en-suite) plus separate WC. Shower room/WC downstairs. Spacious family bathroom has great character: iron bath and original features
Disabled Facilities:  Not specifically catering for disabled but we do have 1 bedroom and shower room on ground floor. "The Patio" apartment is also ground floor.
Children's Facilities:  2 Minutes from safe sandy beach. Gardens ideal for hide & seek, treasure hunts etc. Covered fish pond. Dovecote. High chair & travel cot available
Outdoor Facilities:  Sun terrace overlooking gardens and sea. Beach huts. All-weather tennis court, croquet, badminton, table tennis. BBQ. Wonderful gardens. Path to beach
Swimming Pool:  None at the property but there is a local pool, and of course the sea is a short stroll away.
Parking:  Sweeping gravel drive provides ample off road parking. One of the beauties of Haulfryn House is once here you need not use your car again all holiday
Telecom Facilities:  Wireless broadband Internet access is available free of charge
Smoking:  We ask guests not to smoke at Haulfryn House
Pets:  Pets may, rarely, be allowed, strictly by arrangement
Games Room:  None at the property, but an outdoor table tennis table as well as all-weather tennis court, croquet lawn and badminton net.
