Large Group Rental Information:
All accommodation is self-catering and the 11 properties combine to sleep up to 65 guests. Each apartment has it's own unique character and can also be hired for mid-week and weekend breaks out of peak season. Walcot Hall offers an ideal location for friends or family to get together and enjoy an escape to the country. Children and pets are welcome and there are a wealth of outdoor activities to explore.

Fishing, boating, horse riding and cycling are available within the estate and being in South Shropshire, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, there is no shortage of walks and trails to explore.

In addition to the apartments detailed below, Walcot Hall has a purpose built Ballroom, which can be hired to parties, reunions or family celebrations for up to 200 guests.

The Styche, Montfort and Arni apartments are situated on the top floor of Walcot Hall itself and easily combine to accommodate up to 25 guests.

Berkeley is the former west wing of the Hall, with views over the lake; it will sleep up to 8 people.

Arcot is the smallest property, with only one double bedroom, sleeping 2.

Plassey is adjacent to the garden with it's own decking area. Two bedrooms and a sofa bed provide plenty of space for up to six guests.

Quinton is a first floor property, with two bedrooms, ideal for a family of 6.

Clive can accommodate 6 guests and has an outdoor garden area that adjoins with Harold, which allows a group of 10 to combine beautifully.

The Chapel and Dipping Shed are located further away from the Main Hall than all other apartments and as such offer unrivaled peace and seclusion. The Chapel is a romantic wooden structure in the Arboretum, which has two double bedrooms and the Dipping Shed oozes rustic charm, also accommodating 4 guests.

In addition to these properties, there are also several character caravans available for hire and tents may be pitched at the Walcot Caravan and Camping Park.

Group Accommodation Details:                                             
 
Catering: All accommodation is on a self-catering basis. Local caterers can be arranged with advance notice.
Kitchen: All kitchens are well equipped for family requirements. Most apartments have dishwashers and some have Rayburn's in addition to electric cookers.
Dining Room:  All properties have a dining area either within the kitchen or the living accommodation. Tables always have the capacity to seat additional guests.
Sitting Room: All sitting rooms have wood burning stoves and are a furnished with an eclectic mix of furniture and pictures, rich fabrics and cosy armchairs.
TV and Music Facilities: All properties have colour televisions and CD players.
Heating/Open Fires:  All accommodation has wood burning fires within the living rooms, in addition to alternative sources of heating.
Bedrooms: Within the apartments there is a combination of double, twin and family bedrooms. Often there is the option to accommodate extra guests of sofa beds.
Linen: Bed linen and towels are provided at no extra cost. Should guests prefer to bring there own, there is a subsequent reduction in the hire tariff.
Bathrooms: Each property has at least one bath and often a seperate shower facility.
Disabled Facilities:  The Berkeley apartment is the most suitable for guests with mobility problems as it is situated on the ground floor and has a wet-room type shower.
Children's Facilities:  Cots and high chairs are available on request.
Outdoor Facilities:  Cycling, fishing, boating and horse riding are available.
Swimming Pool:  None
Parking:  There is plenty of parking within the Estate and parking spaces outside each apartment, except for the Chapel.
Telecom Facilities:  None
Smoking:  Not permitted within the accommodation
Pets:  Well behaved dogs are allowed, providing they sleep on their own bedding.

Nearest Pub/Eatery:  Powis Arms at bottom of drive (3/4 mile)
Nearest Airport:  Birmingham International airport is 70 miles away or there is a local airport at Welshpool (17 miles)
Nearest Train Station:  The nearest railway station is at Craven Arms (9 miles away)
Nearest Bus:  The buses from Bishop's Castle (3 miles away)run a service to Ludlow and Shrewsbury.

Group Rental Prices:  Prices range from £250 for 2 to £2,050 for 25 guests. A week in high season is between £76 - £215 per person, or in low season between £63 -£165 p.p
