Large Group Rental Information:
The new owner has undertaken a labour of love to respectfully and tastefully restore Beltingham House to its former splendour, blending original features with simple, clean lines to provide luxury accommodation for private hire.

Set in five acres of grounds and sympathetically refurbished to the highest standards, Beltingham House offers up to 14 guests the perfect opportunity to enjoy a relaxing break in the surroundings of a fine country house retreat in Northumberland, coupled with all the luxury you would expect from a five star hotel. During your stay, the house is your home and, as such, your privacy will be respected with our concierge contacting you only at your request.

The accommodation comprises three adjoining properties in one: the main house and two cottages, which may be hired individually or jointly.

Members of the Royal Family, including the late Queen Mother and Princess Margaret, made a number of visits to Beltingham House to visit Lady Mary Bowes-Lyon.

Catering: Our well-equipped kitchen gives you the flexibility of cooking meals at your leisure. Alternatively, the hire of an experienced chef can be arranged.
Kitchen: Well-equipped & fitted with all the modern appliances that you would expect (oven, hob, dishwasher, washer dryer, Smeg fridge freezer, microwave)
Dining Room:  A formal dinner in this beautiful room is an event to remember. The walls are lined in hand-painted linen featuring local Northumbrian landscapes.
Sitting Room: There is room for everyone to chill out in the evenings in front of the 2 open fires or sit in the window seat with views across the Tyne Valley.
TV and Music Facilities: Take advantage of the large screen televisions and multimedia equipment which includes DVD, CD player and iPod docks.
Heating/Open Fires:  Each room has an original Georgian fireplace. The house has central heating and a wood burning stove.
Bedrooms: Seven, all are generously proportioned & tastefully furnished to the highest standards, sofa beds, Z beds and cots are also available.
Linen: All beds freshly made up with the finest Egyptian cotton sheets. Rooms are serviced weekly but we can arrange additional housekeeping services.
Bathrooms: A total of 6 bathrooms comprising of 3 en-suite bathrooms, 1 large family bathroom, a shower room & a dedicated bathroom.

Outdoor Facilities:  A walled garden, orchard & several acres of woodland within its boundaries. BBQ, patios & outdoor furniture provided.

Nearest Town:  The market town of Hexham with its racecourse and full range of shops and services is approximately 11 miles east.
Nearest Shop:  The village of Bardon Mill is just across the river with its village shop, 1 mile from Beltingham House.
Nearest Pub/Eatery:  Nearest pub is 1 mile away in Bardon Mill. Nearest eatery is Haydon Bridge, 3 miles or Hexham where there are a range of restaurants and pubs.
Nearest Airport:  Newcastle International airport is 23 miles to the east.
Nearest Train Station:  Bardon Mill train station is less than a mile away. Step off the train & take the footbridge across the River Tyne, within 10 minutes you will arrive.
Nearest Bus:  Regular buses run from Bardon Mill to Hexham, Newcastle and Carlisle.
