Large Group Rental Information:
A stunning location in Southern Brittany featuring two properties, Le Manoir, a stone manor house, which sleeps 15 and Longere, sleeping 12. Ideal for large groups of family and friends, reunions and activity holidays.

Le Manoir is an impressive stone manor house with spacious, light and airy rooms, many original features including superb wooden floors, all tastefully decorated and well furnished.

The large kitchen dining room is at the centre of activity in the house. It’s light and airy with lots of windows yet can still be warm and cosy. There is a new solid oak kitchen that’s both attractive and very practical with a large range gas cooker that can cope with cooking for larger families or groups. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a large fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and plenty of good quality pots and pans.

In the dining area there is a large wooden table so every one can sit and eat together plus an original fireplace.

There is a separate self-contained lounge with plenty of comfortable sofas, a TV, DVD, video and CD player as well as a selection of books and games for you to use. One of the sofas converts to a sofa bed.

On the first floor there are four bedrooms and a shower and toilet. The larger room has a double and single bed, then there are two twin bedded rooms and a double room. All bedrooms have a washbasin.

On the top floor is a magnificent roof conversion, which has made a very large bedroom with lots of features including original beams, Lucerne window, superb wooden floor and its own shower and toilet en-suite. There are two double beds and one single bed.

Longere is a traditional Breton Long House converted to provide superb accommodation of a very high standard, with the "piece de resistance" a very large open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area (approx. 70ft).

It is light and sunny, stylishly decorated and furnished with lots of large windows. There are plenty of comfortable sofas plus a TV & DVD.

Children's Facilities:  Children most welcome. High chairs, cots and stair gates always available. Selection of toys, books & games. Sand pit. Minimal clutter to worry about
Outdoor Facilities:  Heated swimming pool, large patio with tables, chairs, sun loungers, BBQ. Play area, table tennis, large trampoline & plenty of space for ball games.
Swimming Pool:  The heated swimming pool is 10 metres x 5 metres with Roman steps, space for sun loungers and secure fencing. Cleaning/maintenence contract in place.
Parking:  Ample, some under cover

Southern Brittany - there are miles of beautiful coastline with beaches, pretty villages and and medieval towns steeped in history. Activities nearby
 
Nearest Town:  Baud is a pretty market town less than 15 minutes drive. It has three large supermarkets and a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants.
Nearest Shop:  St Barthelemy, less than 5 minutes drive, is a small village with a reasonably sized supermarket, bakery and a few bars
Nearest Pub/Eatery:  St Nicholas des Eaux (8 minutes drive). Local beauty spot, picturesque location on the river. Two excellent restaurants, a bar and very good Creperie
Nearest Airport:  Lorient 35 minutes, Ferry to St. Malo (2 hours away) Portsmouth to Caen Ferry (3.5 hours drive)
Nearest Train Station:  Auray, 30 minutes
Nearest Bus:  None close by
