Large Group Rental Information:
Beech Barns Guest House is a wonderful fully catered rambling Victorian style house and barn conversion, believed to date from the early 18th century. Full of charm and character, Beech Barns is a substantial private house that sits in impressive mature gardens in the village of Beech, close to the market town of Alton in Hampshire.

Having recently undergone a serious makeover it now has nine large bedrooms, all with excellent en-suite facilities, dedicated dining, lounge and entertainment areas, including lawns and terracing. We are able to offer an extensive range of services to suit your individual or groups requirements. From one nights bed and breakfast stopover, through short break holidays, to a full scale weekend away with dinner party for up to 18 guests, we aim to help make your stay at Beech Barns a memorable and unique experience.

We have a professional kitchen well capable of catering for our maximum capacity of eighteen guests and there is also a breakfast room with traditional farmhouse charm and a hint of the Alps too. We also have extensive relaxation areas including a formal lounge, a TV and games room as well as an open function space.

Outside you can enjoy strolling or sitting quietly in the mature garden surrounded by many interesting trees and a very old well, which is now listed. There is a large patio area for lazing in the sun or enjoying some tea and home-made cakes.

We are surrounded by glorious countryside, with rural footpaths and bridleways in one direction and a large forest in the other.
We have our own Abbey, Chapel, Forestry and unlimited access to the open countryside. The surrounding area was home to Jane Austen, Gilbert White and the ill fated 'Sweet Fanny Adams'. The Watercress Line, which runs between Alresford and Alton, should be of great interest to enthusiasts of the steam era and the town has a history of brewing dating back centuries. Alton town is close to the source of the River Wey.
