## About The Property

The Dartmoor Training Centre is situated on the banks of the West Dart River in the heart of the Dartmoor National Park. The Centre lies in a tranquil, secluded valley with easy access to the open moor making it a popular base for exploring this unique landscape.

We have forty five beds, a large bright common room, a fully equipped kitchen and modern shower and toilet facilities. The Centre has central heating throughout and a wood burning stove for that extra warmth and atmosphere.

Accommodation is divided into two spacious dormitories, two twin and one triple bedroom. Each dormitory has its own facilities.

The Centre grounds include ample space for parking, an outdoor fire area and a level area, ideal for camping, with outstanding views of the river valley and Dartmoor skyline.

We also offer a range of programmes and activities including moorland exploration, bush-craft, night walks, climbing, caving, orienteering, archery and mountain biking. The Dartmoor Training Centre is also an ideal base for a wide range of other interests and pursuits, such as personal development, field studies, and the arts.
