The soaring views and favourable aspect that set Dukes Farm apart continue to ensure its success for family gatherings, birthday parties and reunions of friends. Facing south-west to the mountain, we have now planted a vineyard against the terrace to distil the sunshine into wine. It gives us a touch of Tuscany!

Its handsome terraces, water garden, heated games room and trampoline make this property particularly suitable for lively mixed parties. Children are well-catered for, safe to run from barn to barn and play outdoors, and pets welcome for £20 extra.

Each barn is different in character, but all are fresh, stylish and well-equipped. We aim to provide all but your food: dry wood, bedlinen, towels, cleaning materials, kitchen & bathroom basics. The glazed threshing floor of the Swallow Barn creates a splendid vault of light and space with ample seating and dining for a party of 15+.

Swallow Barn sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms: 2 en-suite double rooms, 1 double and 1 twin bedroom with shared shower room.

The Granary sleeps 5 in two heavily-beamed ground-floor bedrooms with shared wet-room, extra cloakroom, and charming first-floor living kitchen.

The Goose Cottages sleeps 2 in romantic seclusion. Mezzanine bedroom above cosy living space and ground floor shower room.

Each property has a large flat-screen freeview TV, DVD and CD player, with MP3 port and iPod dock. The properties share a large library of movies, games and toys, plus a wealth of visitor information and entertainment: games room, trampoline, walks from the door over 130 acres, maps and guides to the intriguing towns, good eateries and historical gems nearby. Food from one of our excellent local chefs can be pre-ordered and delivered hot to suit. We've tried to think of everything!

Bristol, Birmingham and Cardiff less than 2 hours away. Hay-on-Wye, 7 miles; Hereford, 17 miles; Ross-on-Wye (M50), 21 miles. Reasonably priced. Flexible booking. All payment methods.

Visitors constantly comment on the cleanliness, style, and range of kitchen facilities. Units use oak from our farm. All cleaning materials supplied.
Dining Room
Spacious dining areas, with banqueting facilities for 15+ in the Swallow Barn. Pleasing aesthetics throughout. Matching cutlery, china and glassware.
Sitting Room
Efficient wood stoves in every hearth, lit on arrival when the weather's chilly. High-quality deep sofas, plus plenty of games, books & movies.
TV and Music Facilities
Very high quality, with iPod docks, CD players, and digital HD TV throughout. Freeview channels, and a good library of movies to borrow.
Telecom Facilities
No mobile coverage, but land-line with honesty box, and WiFi available in shared utility room.
Games Room
Large heated games room with table-tennis, pool, table football, dartboard (bring your own darts) and daub wall.
Heating / Open Fires
Prices include generous mix of underfloor, radiators and wood stoves. Our split, dry, hardwood logs must be the best in the land. Unlimited supply.
Mountain views from most beds. All beds are new; all doubles are 5 foot king-size. High quality mattresses, English oak cabinets and real character.
Luxury down duvets & professionally laundered pure cotton bedding. Bath & hand towels, and all kitchen & bathroom linen provided.
Luxury 1500ml shower cabinets (huge!) throughout. All with underfloor heating, heated towel rails, ample towels, loo roll, toiletries provided.
Disabled Facilities
One ground-floor bedroom adjoining the main living area, with en-suite accessible wet-room with safety bars, and WC. Level access to terrace.
Children's Facilities
Children hugely welcome. Cots, high-chairs, baby walker, stair-gates all f o c. A Wendy house and masses of safe play area in the gardens.
Outdoor Facilities
Southerly terrace overlooking vineyard & the mountain, enclosed garden with 14ft trampoline, plus water garden. BBQ and seating for everyone. A joy.
Swimming Pool
We don't have a swimming pool.
Ample clean parking.
No smoking indoors.
Well behaved pets very welcome for £20 extra. Please bring their own bedding and towels. Walks straight from the door.
