The site is available with exclusive use to groups of families and friends, and is ideal for celebrations and hen parties. Included is a large 40' x 16' inside party space with stereo, disco lights, sofas, fridge freezer and benches for a group meals. Outside there is a fire pit, barbecue and benches for you to enjoy.
The new wedding barn is also available for wedding receptions or ceremonies with a celebrant. There's a DJ booth, great lighting and sound system - perfect for partying the night away. Outside there are fire pits, and we can arrange street food providers - everything you need for a festival-style wedding in fact!
Glamping Thorpe is situated next to a small wooded area away from any houses on the Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire border. Our glamping site is set in 3 acres of green pasture, which overlooks pretty countryside.
Each unit is situated in a corner of the field to give you the maximum privacy.
Our composting toilet has been made from recycled materials.
Our shower room has been converted from an old horse box and will guarantee to give you a whole new experience in washing!
Should you wish to hit the shops, we are about 6 miles from Banbury our local town. For the more cultural experience, we are about a 30 minute drive from Oxford , Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Leamington Spa.
We have an excellent local pub, The Three Conies, in the village of Thorpe Mandeville, about 1/4 mile walk across country fields.
We recommend you bring waterproof boots, torch, warm clothes, waterproof coat, kite, frisby etc. Also, please bring disposable glasses, paper plates etc, however, we are equipped with kettle, pans and gas stove.
