Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. Little Quarme Cottages, Exmoor National Park, Somerset, sleeps 2 - 22 in 11 bedrooms.

You can get married at Little Quarme and/or hold your wedding reception here. We have hosted celebrations as diverse as a formal seated wedding breakfast, a hog roast and a vintage tea party. The choice is yours! Your ceremony will be held in our wooden wedding gazebo overlooking the Quarme Valley or in The Barn, dependent on the weather.
Included in the price are our six self catering cottages which can sleep up to 22 of your wedding guests. The cottages are close to the marquee area so there is easy access for your guests. All the cottages are fully equipped and the price always includes all linen, towels, heating and cleaning as well as a cream tea on arrival. Many couples ask their guests staying in the cottages to pay a contribution towards their accommodation which makes Little Quarme a cost-effective venue.
You can book the cottages and site for either two or three nights with an extended check-out time so you don’t have to get up too early after your wedding. The wedding couple and their helpers are welcome on site to decorate from 10am on the day of arrival – generally Friday.
The Barn can also be used to host a small wedding reception for up to 50 people. Please contact us direct for a brochure, chat or to ask a few questions. Phone calls welcome before 8.30pm.

WiFi

WiFi is available in all cottages as well as The Barn. Good EE mobile signal. Landline available for emergency use.

Disabled Facilities

There are no facilities for disabled guests.

Dog Friendly

Welcome. Maximum two dogs in most cottages (1 dog in the one bedroomed cottages). We ask that dogs are not allowed in bedrooms or on furniture.

Kitchen

One kitchen in each cottage (6 in all) with oven and 4-ring hob, microwave & fridge. The larger cottages have washing machine and dishwasher.

Dining Room

One dining area in each cottage (6 in all). Groups can dine together in The Barn. We also have a huge BBQ, large enough to cater for around 80 people!

Sitting Room

Comfortable sofas and arm-chairs, TV/DVD/SKY Freeview in each cottage.

TV and Music Facilities

There is a sitting room with TV/DVD/Sky Freeview in each cottage.

Games Room

The Barn has WiFfi facilities, table tennis, table football and a small pool table. The room is also perfect for a large group dining together.

Heating and Open Fires

Gas central heating in all cottages - included in the price. Each cottage has an log-effect electric fire.

Bedrooms

Depending on cottage - between 1 and 3 per cottage. Total number of bedrooms: 11.

Linen

Linen and towels are always included in the price along with loo rolls, soap, washing up liquid and surface cleaner.

Bathrooms

One family bathroom per cottage. All six cottages offer a bath and shower facilities (shower above the bath).

Children's Facilities

Wildlife/lily pond and gardens to explore plus 17 acres of running space! Football goals, garden games.

Outdoor

17 acres of fields and well kept gardens. Large BBQ area. Large flat lawn area perfect for picnics, parties & games.

Swimming Pool

We do not have a pool.

Parking

As much as you need (max 65 cars).

Smoking

Not permitted in any of the cottages or The Barn.

Booking Information

Rates based on 22 booking all cottages. Prices are the lowest during that period – contact us for exact prices for your dates. 20% deposit with balance due 21 days before arrival. Payment by BACS or cheque. Min. stay 2 nights winter; 3 nights other dates.

Located in Exmoor National Park, Somerset, near the village of Wheddon Cross. Beaches at Minehead and Blue Anchor Bay are approx 9 miles away. Dunkery Beacon is 3 miles by car or a good walk away.
