If you are looking for an exclusive wedding location, a beautiful backdrop to celebrate a special birthday or anniversary, or to simply gather your loved ones together, Pentillie provides the perfect setting for the most memorable experiences!

The Castle offers 11 individually styled bedrooms with spectacular views. All first-floor rooms look across the River Tamar to Devon or face the breathtaking views of the historic gardens. Our ground floor bedroom has a wet room facility to accommodate access to all, regardless of their abilities or disabilities. Most bedrooms can be twinned if requested.

Guests have use of the AGA kitchen to cook their meals or dine alfresco using the BBQ with outdoor seating on the terrace overlooking the River Tamar.

Spend summer days relaxing by the outdoor heated swimming pool or enjoy winter nights in the Drawing Room by the large open fire. With a widescreen TV, billiards, table tennis and a dartsboard, our games room will keep you entertained.

Guests can explore the 55-acres of woodland gardens with many walks around the Estate, including paths down to the picturesque Bathing Hut on the quay, or up to Sir James Tillie's mysterious mausoleum.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome to stay with you in one of our three dog-friendly bedrooms.

Additional services such as catering, housekeeping or concierge can be arranged in advance of your stay.

Pentillie Castle is a perfect country venue to use as a base to explore the very best of the West country, with sandy beaches, Dartmoor National Park, Eden Project and quintessential Cornish villages all within a short drive.

- **Dog Friendly:** Dogs welcome downstairs and in three bedrooms (Kitson, Howard and Warren). Can also stay in heated boot room. £30 per dog. Maximum 4 dogs.
- **Accessibility:** Fabulous large double bedroom on the ground floor with disabled access. En suite wet room. Separate disabled toilet facilities on ground floor.
- **WiFi:** Telephones available in kitchen and Castle office. Superfast wi-fi available throughout. Mobile reception variable.
- **Kitchen:** Newly refurbished to highest standards with 4-door AGA & six burner gas range, 2 dishwashers, microwave, American fridge/freezer, larder & ice maker.
- **Dining Room:** Panelled dining room with original cornicing and portraits. Large formal dining table seats up to 24. Alternative arragements can be made for parties.
- **Sitting Room:** Large formal drawing room with open fire and sound system. Also licensed for civil ceremonies. Morning room with TV opens onto South terrace.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Smart TVs in morning room and games room. Bluetooth Stereo systems in Drawing & Dining rooms. Freeview TVs with DVD capability in every bedroom.
- **Games Room:** Games room in the cellar with billiards, table tennis, football table, board games, smart TV, & outdoor garden games.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Fully refurbished central heating and pressurised hot water system throughout castle. Open fires in drawing room and morning room.
- **Bedrooms:** 11 individually styled bedrooms with spectacular views (sleeps 22).
- **Linen:** All linen supplied. Cots and mattresses can be provided for an additional cost of £30.
- **Bathrooms:** Nine en suite bathrooms. Separate male, female and disabled facilities on the ground floor.
- **Children's Facilities:** Children welcome. Can be accommodated on 2 airbeds and 2 cots. Supervision required at all times especially near river and swimming pool.
- **Outdoor:** 55 acres of woodland gardens. Croquet and Boules. Swimming Pool. Golf, Dartmoor, beaches nearby. River and 4x4 activities can be arranged.
- **Swimming Pool:** Gorgeous outdoor swimming pool in own walled garden (heated by solar panels April to Sept), with sun loungers, outdoor sofas and umbrellas.
- **Parking:** Plenty of car parking available. Helicopter and boat arrivals can also be facilitated.
- **Smoking:** Outside only. You can find designated smoking areas with cigarette buckets on the back terrace, by the front door and outside the Morning Room loggia.
