Springfield Castle, Drumcollogher, Co. Limerick, sleeps 25 in 13 bedrooms.

Springfield Castle can now accommodate up to 25 people in what are effectively two "castles". The Castle itself and the newly renovated East Tower wing. Ideal for large family reunions and gatherings, celebrations and special events as well as small intimate weddings. You can rent the whole Castle or you have the option to just rent one part to suit your group size.

The Castle sleeps up to 15 in 8 bedrooms and has 6 bathrooms. The East Tower sleeps 10 with 3 double rooms in the tower all with bathrooms en suite, and the clock suite has a double room and twin single bedded room with shared bath and shower room.

The two "castles" are both fully equipped with their own entrances, courtyards, hallways, dining rooms, kitchens and drawing rooms. Whether you rent all of the property or just one part you will enjoy privacy and luxury.

On the premises are leisure facilities including a sauna for relaxation, full sized snooker/billiard table, pool table, air hockey, table tennis, and a hard court tennis court. There is a children's playground in the central courtyard.

You will enjoy the seclusion that Springfield Castle offers but it is also ideally suited for day visits to the best attractions in South West Ireland.

Springfield Castle is a holiday home with so much extra. The estate is organic and as far as possible ecologically sustainable. Walks around the estate to visit the farm, woodlands and gardens are just some of the pleasures you can enjoy when you rent the castle.

Kitchen Details
Warm and welcoming kitchen with it's "always on" 4 oven AGA cooking range. Both houses are well equipped with all modern appliances.
Dining Room
Large dining room with a fine silver candelabra lighting up the large 16 seater mahogany dining table. Dining room in the East Tower seats 25 +
Sitting Room
There are large and cosy sitting rooms throughout the castle.
TV and Music Facilities
There are TVs and DVD players in both sections of the castle.
Telecom Facilities
Wi-Fi internet is free.
Games Room
There is a full sized snooker table in one games room and a pool table, air hockey, table tennis table in another. Darts are also supplied.
Heating / Open Fires
There are three fireplaces in the old house while the East tower has underfloor heating. Both houses are fully centrally heated.
There are 13 bedrooms in total, each beautifully decorated and furnished in its own unique style.
Linen and towels are provided.
The castle has eight bathrooms, the East Tower has six.
Disabled Facilities
The Castle has a ground floor bedroom suitable for disabled or less able guests with a large wet room shower en-suite. It is wheel chair accessible.
Children's Facilities
Two cots and 1 toddler bed can be provided and one high chair. Playground, soccer pitch, tennis court, games rooms, toy cupboard, dress up & library.
Outdoor Facilities
Extensive grounds ideal for walking, jogging etc. Barbecue and picnic areas. Tennis court, soccer pitch, croquet lawn & bicycles are all free to use.
Swimming Pool
There is no swimming pool on site, however there is a leisure centre with pool 12km from the castle.
There is plenty of parking area and the castle is accessible by coach.
Smoking is not permitted in the bedrooms.
We do not accommodate pets.

Just 1 hour drive from Shannon and 1 hour from Cork airports, The castle is close to the N20 and N21 roads to Cork and Tralee.

Charleville station is 10 miles from the castle with trains from Dublin, Cork & Tralee. See Irish rail for details, we can book a taxi to collect you.
Nearest Bus
Newcastle west, 10 miles.
Nearest Airport
Shannon airport is 1 hour. Cork airport is just over 1 hour. Kerry airport is also a 1 hour drive.
Nearest Town
Drumcollogher is 2 miles and has a good central store and a butchers shop. There are lots of pubs! Post office, petrol station, 2 takeaways and a café

2 miles.
Nearest Pub / Eatery
2 miles to pub. Restaurants are in Newcastlewest, 10 miles and Adare 20 miles.
