The Vean, Caerhays Estate, St Austell, Cornwall, sleeps 16 in 8 bedrooms.

The Vean is available for exclusive hire for private parties, weddings, corporate entertaining and small business meetings and conferences. The Georgian Hall in the Castle is also available for business meetings.

We also welcome visitors to The Vean for Bed & Breakfast and for family holidays. We have been awarded 5 Star Gold by Quality in Tourism.

Although we are located in glorious peaceful countryside we have two beautiful beaches to use and enjoy. Porthluney Beach which is a family friendly beach with the beautiful backdrop of Caerhays Castle and East & West Portholland, which is about two miles in the opposite direction, also provides good family beaches. Here you can launch a boat as well as enjoy the beach although jet skis are not allowed.

We are also an ideal location for walking holidays and exploring the coastal path of Cornwall. Sailing wooden boats on the Fal River is another adventure along with boat based wildlife spotting trips with Fal Wooden Boats. Activities are many and various as well as visiting the Great Gardens of Cornwall and all the other Cornish attractions.

There is a fully equipped commercial kitchen at The Vean. We have an excellent chef who is delighted to cater for your special occasions.

8 bedrooms all en suite which can made up as either 6' double beds or twin. All zip & link beds.
Linen is provided.
En suite and all with Molton Brown products supplied.
Disabled Facilities
Limited. There is no lift at The Vean so wheelchairs are limited to ground floor only. We have a ground floor loo which has disabled facilities.

There is no pool, but the Estate is on the coast.
There is ample parking.
The Vean is strictly no smoking.
No pets are allowed in the house.
