Bring your group to Portugal and linger on the golden beaches, discover Medieval castles and villages or wander the streets of fascinating cosmopolitan cities. Stay in luxury houses, apartments and converted farmhouses on the gorgeous Algarve, in a boutique hotel in the unspoilt Coastal National Park Costa Vincentina, or base yourselves in beautiful villas near Lisbon. You’ll discover an enchanting country that’s got everything you need for a wonderful break, and more. See our selection of Portuguese holiday houses.

A luxury farmhouse

Near Praia da Luz, this quinta and neighbouring cottage are set in huge, tranquil gardens with panoramic ocean views. In the gardens you’ll find a swimming pool, dining terraces, lawns, waterfalls and orchard, a formal Italian garden with an outdoor chess set and a glass-fronted yoga studio. Inside the stunning blue and white house, all rooms have balconies or terraces and en-suite bathrooms. And if you’d rather not cook whilst on holiday, then full service catering can be provided to whip up gourmet breakfasts, lunches and dinners for your group.

A rural house

A luxury house in Loule on the Algarve, in the south of Portugal, Resort Natura is all about the gorgeous wildlife and scenery of this quiet spot. Sleeping 34 across 17 rooms, with pretty Portugeuse decor and great facilities (think pool, jacuzzi, massage room, gym, games room), your group will feel totally relaxed when you stay. And if you don’t feel like lifting a finger, then there’s even the option of getting breakfast, lunch and dinner catered. Less than half an hour from the house you’ll find beautiful beaches, national parks, golf courses and local villages waiting to be explored.

A Portuguese estate

You’ll find Paraiso Jardim just outside Lagos and only 3km from the sunning beach at Burgau, just a short walk from the village of Almadena. Get the family together and stay in the five self-catering apartments (sleeping 18) which have a typical Portuguese feel combined with a contemporary twist. The estate is surrounded by open countryside and the buildings form a protective L-shape around the sheltered pool. There’s also a large mature garden, wonderful covered outdoor dining space and lawned area to relax in as well.

A rustic boutique hotel

On the beautiful west coast of Portugal and just 5 minutes from two amazing beaches, Casa Fajara lets you and your group relax in style. Sitting in the Coastal National Park of Costa Vincentina, you’ll love the idyllic, picture-perfect surroundings with views over lush green hills. Inside there are 12 rooms sleeping up to 30 people and there’s an in-house chef to cater to all of your needs, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion with feasts every night, or hosting a yoga retreat and wanting to eat clean and detox. The gorgeous gardens contain a large swimming pool, stunning terraces, an astro tennis court and a yoga room to ensure a chilled holiday.

Two typical Portugeuse villas

Close to the coast at Estoril where you can soak up the sea views (or head to the one of the largest casinos in Europe), these two wonderful villas are also only 40 minutes away from trendy Lisbon. Inside you’ll find traditional decor with pretty Portugeuse details and outside there are lovely tranquil gardens and a covered pool. 10 minutes away by car and you’re at Guincho beach, which holds annual windsurfing and surfing championships, and the incredible world heritage site of Sintra, with its eye-catching pastel coloured palaces, tiles and chimneys is just 15 minutes away.
