Group Accommodation Bedale

A Georgian market town, Bedale also has a pretty 12th century church, St Gregory’s, and the intriguingly-named 18th century Leech House, used for storing medicinal leeches by the local apothecary, that history lovers will definitely appreciate. The cobbled market square is home to all sorts of boutiques and there’s a weekly market too. If you’ve worked up an appetite (and the leeches haven’t put you off) then indulge in any of the wonderful cafes and restaurants that you’ll find dotted around, many focusing on local and homemade produce. Railway fans will also be able to nip onto the Wensleydale Railway which runs into the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
