Large Holiday Houses Cambridge - Enjoy a Group Gathering

You are here

Perched on the edge of the river Cam, where lots of people head for a punt to see the city from water level, Cambridge really is beautiful. Like Oxford, the famous university buildings with their quads make up a lot of the city (some are free to visit like Christ’s College, but many of which you’ll need to pay to see). Or head to The Backs for a stunning view of Kings College Chapel across the meadow.

The small centre with its narrow medieval streets can only be visited on foot - no vehicles are allowed, so you’ll be able to wander without traffic noise. You’ll also find quaint pubs, shops, restaurants and tea rooms to relax in once you’ve soaked up the sights. If you visit in August then check out the Cambridge Folk Festival.
