Group Accommodation Dumfries

Pretty market and county town Dumfries, known as the ‘The Queen of South’ and apparently ‘the happiest town in Scotland’, is a great place for a group getaway, not too far from the Lake District. A centre for art and literature and the former home of Robert Burns, Dumfries offers wonderful Burns Night celebrations in January but there’s also a whole host of other festivals and events across the year so, whenever you visit, there should be something going on. By day you and your group can stroll the streets full of independent shops, restaurants and art galleries, or head out of town for a spot of golf or a hike in a forest.
