Group Accommodation Gorebridge

A little town with an interesting name, this former mining village was named after the bridge across the River Gore and is about 12 miles from Edinburgh. Once a centre of gunpowder production, people flocked to the town as a holiday resort in the 1800s. And there’s plenty for you and your group to do when you stay, too. If you love the outdoors, then check out the Gore Glen Woodland Park or Vogrie Country Park, and pay Arniston House a visit if you’re away with some history buffs – the William Adam-designed Palladian style house is sure to impress.
