Group Accommodation Talgarth

At the foot of the Black Mountains, Talgarth is a tiny market town that’s in an area loved by walkers and outdoor enthusiasts. The town itself was apparently the capital of early medieval Kingdom of Brycheiniog, and there’s a wonderful 13th century Pele Tower in the town that now houses the Tourist Information Centre. The beautiful, community-run Talgarth Mill, with its Bakers’ Table cafe and showcase for local artists, was restored with lottery funding in 2011 and today you can tour the mill and watch the millers at work 3-4 days a week. If you’re visiting in August then don’t miss the Festival of the Black Mountains.
