Nestled in the High Peak and often known as the ‘Gateway to the Goyt Valley’, Whaley Bridge has a past that saw it being a transfer station for limestone around the UK. The scenic Peak Forest Canal starts at the town so you and your group can hop onto the towpath for a leisurely stroll to Bugsworth Basin, one of the largest inland ports on the canal network.
