York House is a majestic character property in the heart of York which has been lovingly restored and is perfectly equipped for groups, families and business stays.

The building has a grand entranceway and large staircase leading to 6 unique suites; each are beautifully furnished with a sophisticated array of modern and original features, open-plan living spaces and fully-equipped, modern kitchens.

The bathrooms have walk-in showers and there are a number of roll-top baths. Several suites have high ceilings and views of York.

The master bedrooms have king size beds with Egyptian cotton sheets and en suite bathrooms. 3 of the suites have bedrooms with twin beds.

Tower Mews and Turpin's Loft both have large bi-fold doors leading to outdoor patios with garden furniture and views over the rooftops of York. The master bedroom in Turpin's Loft also has a luxurious roll-top bath and original wooden beams.

Lendal Suite has a stylish communal dressing area which connects the bedrooms and main bathroom. It has a mirrored dressing table along one wall and is fully equipped with hairdryers, towels and a single sofa bed. This unique space offers guests the perfect place to get ready together before heading out to the nearby bars and restaurants just a few minutes’ walk away.

Along with Tower Mews, Lendal Suite also has a large dining area, perfect for groups to gather and dine together.

Each suite is newly renovated, spacious and beautifully decorated.

Extra sofa beds, cots and high chairs can be added to suit the needs and configuration of your group.

Facilities

All our apartments have fully equipped kitchens with oven, hob, fridge freezer and microwave.
The apartments have a range of different dining areas available. Lendal Suite and Tower Mews have particularly large open plan kitchen/dining rooms.
The apartments have a range of different sitting rooms available, depending on the size you choose.
All apartments have free WiFi and LCD TV.
All apartments have free WiFi.
Our apartments do not have a games room. There are plenty of places to sit and relax.
Fully thermostatically controlled gas central heating, combination boiler with unlimited hot water.
All with king size beds and Egyptian cotton bedding. Most apartments also have extra sofa beds.
Linen, towels and toiletries are all included.
All apartments have large walk-in showers, toilets, washbasins and unlimited hot water. Many of the suites also have luxurious rolltop baths.
Our apartments are located on the first and second floor of an historic renovated building. This may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
Children's cots, high chairs and toy boxes can be provided (charge applies).
Our top floor apartments have balconies with decked areas and outdoor furniture.
Our apartments do not have a swimming pool. York has public facilities.
We do not have parking on the premises, however public parking is close by at St George’s Field car park.
Our apartments are non smoking throughout, outside areas are available for smokers.
Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets.

Location

We are uniquely situated between the main shopping district of York and Clifford's Tower in a beautiful Grade II listed building. The Minster, shops, bars and restaurants are within walking distance.
Goodramgate Apartments are in York city centre.
Tesco Express is 0.1 mile away.
Pairings Wine Bar, York Cocoa House and Daughter Cafe are very close by. There are hundreds of bars, cafes and restaurants to choose from within a short walking distance from our apartments.
