7th Rise, a cottage and glamping site in Cornwall, is a retreat in the true sense of the word. This is the perfect opportunity to escape from all 21st-century trappings and immerse yourselves in nature. Access to this magical hideaway is by boat or on foot so the adventure begins immediately. It is worth being aware that the pathway to the site can be slippery and a little tricky in places so may not be suitable for anyone with mobility limitations.

Acres of woodland and on-site river access provide opportunities for bushcraft survival, canoeing, green woodworking and wild swimming to name but a few of the activities on offer. All kinds of groups will enjoy a weekend or week-long stay at 7th Rise. Families, friends, charities, youth and corporate gatherings can arrange for a bespoke experience learning new skills and spending time chatting face to face instead of on phones or tablets. Bliss!

A communal barn with seating and a wood stove is perfect for group social events. The large table next to the river is great for everyone to eat together, food prepared in one of the 2 kitchens or in the firepit. Lie back in a hammock or toast some marshmallows to experience real relaxation in a little bit of off grid paradise. Swans, otters, seals and dolphins can frequently be spotted in the river as well as underwater marine life such as clams, oysters, crabs, sea bass and trout. A delicious supper can be caught, cooked and on the table within an hour.

The quirky accommodation comprises a 4 bedroom cottage with 2 triples, a twin and bunk room as well as a Potting Shed with twin, Hunting Lodge with twin and a double in a Shepherd's Hut. Sleeping spaces are cosy and comfortable with shared washing facilities and outdoor showers, all part of the fun.

Please note, too, that day retreats are on offer in the low season. You can also add activities to your trip - choices include bushcraft, foraging, canoeing, archery and wild game butchery.

- Minimum booking 3 nights. Group size 16. A 35% deposit is required to secure the booking and balance due 30 days before arrival along with payment for activities. A refundable damage deposit of £250 will be asked for.
