This beautiful stone built period house is ideal for large family or business groups, relaxing hen parties or yoga retreats sleeping up to 16 in 8 bedrooms. Situated in delightful countryside with views of Alnwick Castle and surrounding countryside, it is only a short walk (15 mins) or drive (3 mins) down the hill into Alnwick town centre.

Furnished and equipped to high standards, the property has very comfortable living accommodation with 8 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There is a large kitchen and dining area, spacious yet cosy drawing room with small conservatory and a 2nd sitting room/playroom. Coats and boots for all the guests can be stored in a good sized entrance room, off which is a downstairs toilet and games room with pool table and table football.

The big garden has a sheltered terrace with table and chairs for outdoor eating, and a gas barbecue for warmer weather. The garden has a hard tennis court (racquets/balls not provided) and a pond - please note that this is uncovered and unfenced; children must be supervised at all times around the pond area.

There is wireless broadband Internet connection available throughout the house and 3 TVs. Kitchen and drawing room HiFis are not Blue/WiFi compatible so do not connect to smartphones.

With views on to Alnwick Castle and surrounding countryside, the house is ideally situated for visiting the great houses and gardens of Northumberland, including the world famous Alnwick Garden. Ten minutes from the beautiful Northumbrian coastline with its wonderful sandy beaches and numerous golf courses. Horse racing at Gosforth Park, Newcastle.
