This is a fantastic venue for up to 200 of your nearest and dearest to celebrate a special wedding day with you. Achnagairn is a fabulous Scottish castle set in 30 acres of grounds, manicured gardens and pretty woodland. The vaulted ceiling ballroom with minstrel’s gallery is a stunning room that can be dressed for a lovely ceremony with lights and flowers and transformed into a banqueting hall for the wedding breakfast. For the evening entertainment this room becomes party central, whether you opt for a DJ, live band or some Scottish dancing. Although it’s only a 15 minute drive from Inverness, 140 loved ones can stay at Achnagairn without having to worry about a late taxi home.

The gardens and grounds have many wonderful corners for photo opportunities and there are also plenty of exceptional places inside for capturing special moments, including the impressive staircase for the bride’s arrival and the glamorous reception rooms with fireplaces if the weather isn’t great (although Achnagairn looks possibly more beautiful in the snow).

At Achnagairn Castle there is plenty of room for loved ones to join you for a weekend of festivities. Arrive on Friday evening, enjoy a family dinner and drinks before heading off to bed in the castle itself or one of the estate mini manors 200 yards away. Share breakfast or brunch in the dining room on the morning of the special day before getting suited and booted and joining the others for the big event at the ballroom. On the Sunday, enjoy a leisurely morning and a walk around the estate before the party disperses.

Please get in touch for prices for your dates and event. 50% deposit if booking more than 9 months in advance of stay, then 25% 6 months prior and balance 2 months prior to stay. Check in from 4pm, check out by 11am. Cots and extra beds are not included. Damage deposit £1500, due 2 months prior and refunded within 2 weeks.

Located on Achnagairn Estate close to the village of Kirkhill in the Highlands. The village of Beauly is under 10 minutes, the Beauly Firth is 25 minutes and Inverness 20 minutes. Loch Ness within 45 minutes. Close to start and finish of North Coast 500 route. 30 minutes from the airport with easy access by road air and rail.
