Youngsters will not be disappointed with the luxury and spacious accommodation at Afan Forest. The design is all about the communal living, just right for cooking, eating and socialising together. The kitchen is well set up for meal prep and the open plan dining, a light and airy space with traditional arched windows and vaulted ceilings, guaranteed to encourage lots of noisy chat over dinner. 2 jumbo washing machines and dryers make washing and drying wet and muddy kit very convenient, a real consideration for D of E groups in particular.
The dining room doubles up as somewhere to gather everyone together for activity planning or some down time at night for team building games. The activity room on the mezzanine is a handy spot for workshops and more gentle pursuits like yoga and music. There are comfy lounge areas where kids can just sit back and relax, next to the Norwegian wood stove on chillier nights. Sofas can be arranged in order to create a cinema-style room for everyone to watch a film together. 2 apartments have separate lounges for anyone wanting a bit of privacy and quiet time.

There are 6 contemporary en suites and 3 shower rooms in Afan Forest Lodge. The 2 separate fully self contained apartments are useful as accommodation for teachers or youth leaders.
Opportunities for other outdoor pursuits such as gorge walking, caving and climbing are easily accessed in a trip to the Neath Valley with its spectacular choice of waterfalls and stunning scenery. Swansea and Gower are within easy reach for some proper fun at the beach and a bag of chips.
