A newly renovated chapel has created the most stunning holiday house in Cockermouth, perfect for 3 generation families and friends to get together for a special occasion or holiday. This fantastic building is where William Wordsworth went to school and the rustic stone walls and traditional beams reflect those bygone times. However, the imaginative and inspiring design introduces modern features such as the glamorous chandeliers hanging from original timbers and even a spa with hot tub and sauna in the crypt. It's quite an experience.

Where to start when describing the amazing living areas? The circular dining table is designed for being sociable and long evenings of enjoyment with loved ones. The ergonomic sofas in the lounge area scream comfort and relaxation, settled down in front of an enormous TV to watch a movie. All Saints has its own bar too - grab yourself a drink and shoot some pool or try your luck at the in-house games arcade, particularly popular with the youngsters. Downstairs in the crypt is the 8 seater hot tub and sauna, complete with sound system and large Smart TV. How much better can it get. And All Saints Manor is set up for self catering with a spacious fully equipped kitchen although catering options are available if guests want to be pampered.

Accommodation is maximum luxury too. Choose the white suite with emperor sized bed and gorgeous freestanding bath next to the window looking out over the hills. There's also a balcony that overlooks the main hall below. Or opt for a 4 poster with a Smart TV in its private bathroom. The combination of elegantly furnished kings, queens, doubles and twins works well for mixed age ranges and 5 bedrooms can be found on the ground floor, ideal for multi generation groups or those less mobile. Bathrooms are opulent with exquisite finishes.

Cockermouth is considered to be the gateway to the western Lake District and the Solway Coast, a pretty and vibrant market town to explore, with little independent shops and cafes. All Saints Manor is a great base for keen walkers and cyclists for a climb up Watch Hill or trails around the lakes of the Lorton Valley. The coast is nearby.
