Sleeps up to 140 in various accommodation options:
8 Fell Houses (all en suite) sleep 8 to 11 each, and up to 71 in total
Fairfield Hall (all en suite) sleeps 40
40 Standard rooms (not en suite) are also available during holiday periods

Situated in the heart of the Lake District, in one of the most picturesque villages, surrounded by dramatic scenery and only a short walk from the northern edge of Lake Windermere, Ambleside Campus offers a choice of self catering accommodation which is comfortable and is a cost effective alternative to staying in a hotel or hostel. The campus makes a great base for groups of friends and families, as well as for youth and corporate group stays.

Much of our accommodation, sleeping 111, is available as single en suite rooms, each with access to a well equipped kitchen and many with comfortable dining and lounge areas. We have limited availability all year round. Additional rooms without en suite facilities may also be available at certain times of year - please enquire.

Some games facilities are available to guests staying on site, and there are accessible outside spaces too. Catering may be available if required - please do enquire about this. Although the campus at Ambleside is a small one with limited facilities on site, there are plenty of options in the vibrant village centre, just a short walk away, with its shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants.

Ambleside makes a great base for exploring all the Lake District has to offer. The villages of Grasmere, Windermere, Rydal and Bowness-on-Windermere are within easy reach by car or bus and the surrounding fells offer a variety of both mountainous fell-walks as well as much easier, low level walking routes.
