The campus makes a great base for groups of friends and families, as well as for youth and corporate group stays. Much of our accommodation, sleeping 111, is available as single en suite rooms, each with access to a well equipped kitchen and many with comfortable dining and lounge areas. We have limited availability all year round. Additional rooms without en suite facilities may also be available at certain times of year - please enquire. Some games facilities are available to guests staying on site, and there are accessible outside spaces too. Catering may be available if required - please do enquire about this. Although the campus at Ambleside is a small one with limited facilities on site, there are plenty of options in the vibrant village centre, just a short walk away, with its shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Ambleside makes a great base for exploring all the Lake District has to offer. The villages of Grasmere, Windermere, Rydal and Bowness-on-Windermere are within easy reach by car or bus and the surrounding fells offer a variety of both mountainous fell-walks as well as much easier, low level walking routes. ## Facilities - **WiFi:** Internet access is available in all rooms. An internal telephone is available in each block and can be used to contact Campus reception and security. - **Accessibility:** Adapted rooms available for guests with mobility or hearing impairments. - **Dog Friendly:** No pets can be accommodated. - **Kitchen:** Each room has shared access to a fully fitted kitchen, with fridge, freezer, cooker and hob, microwave and toaster, crockery and cutlery. - **Dining Room:** Each kitchen has a dining space. Guests may also use The Barn Café on campus offering a range of hot and cold food. - **Sitting Room:** Each of our Fell Court Houses has a communal seating or lounge area. - **TV and Music Facilities:** No TV or music facilities provided. - **Games Room:** Outdoor table tennis, pool table, communal sitting room. - **Heating and Open Fires:** All halls have central heating. - **Bedrooms:** Most of our bedrooms are single en suite. - **Linen:** Bed linen and towels are provided. - **Bathrooms:** En suite facilities include toilet, basin and shower. - **Outdoor:** The campus has many outdoor green spaces and picnic tables on site. - **Swimming Pool:** No pool on site. Nearest public pool is in Kendal, but many local hotel spa's offer day passes. Open water swimming is permitted in Lake Windermere. - **Parking:** Parking is on campus.
