The campus offers a number of social and meeting spaces including a lecture theatre seating 130, a library, flexible conference and exhibition space and smaller meeting rooms and teaching spaces that will accommodate from 15 to 140 delegates.
Meeting spaces feature computers, data projector and interactive white boards.

No pool on site. Nearest public pool is in Kendal, but many local hotel spa's offer day passes. Open water swimming is permitted in Lake Windermere.

Parking is on campus. Daily pay and display charges apply.

Location

Situated on the edge of the village of Ambleside with easy access to the village shops, pubs and restaurants and to the surrounding fells.

Ambleside village centre is a couple of minutes walk from the University Campus.
The main shopping area is in the village centre with a Tesco Express, Co-op, Spar and independent butchers and grocery stores. The nearest supermarkets are Sainsbury's and Booths in Windermere.
Several pubs in the village including The Golden Rule, The Priest Hole and Royal Oak. Good selection of cafes and restaurants including Thai, Vegetarian and Italian.
Manchester 94 miles, Glasgow 140 miles.
Windermere Station 5 miles. Regular connections to Oxenholme and Manchester Airport.
As a major tourist destination there are many bus routes from Ambleside. The Village is connected to Windermere, Coniston and Keswick with extra services in the summer.
