Once a chapel house, this beautifully renovated property blends historic charm with contemporary design in the heart of North Yorkshire. At the heart of the home is the open-plan kitchen diner, featuring a bespoke 12-seater table made from reclaimed London bus seats, a marble-topped kitchen island, and a range cooker for crafting delicious feasts. Gather around the log burner for cozy meals or relax on the corner sofa, soaking in peaceful countryside views.




For entertaining, the quirky cocktail room with its handmade wooden bar and the grand schoolroom await. The schoolroom is perfect for pool games, dining under a sparkling disco ball, or lounging on plush sofas surrounded by unique art and photography. For quiet moments, the sitting room offers a velvet sofa, open fire, and a 65-inch TV with a Sony soundbar for ultimate relaxation.

Aquarius Rising offers six individually styled bedrooms, all with flexible super king or twin setups. The master bedroom features an original fireplace, an en-suite with a freestanding tub and rainfall shower, plus stunning countryside views. Additional bedrooms are uniquely decorated, sharing beautifully appointed bathrooms for guest comfort.

Outside, the enclosed decking area invites you to unwind in the bubbling hot tub, detox in the Swedish sauna, or relax on handcrafted benches. An outdoor shower and changing room add extra convenience. The expansive lawn is ideal for picnics or playtime with up to two dogs, as this property warmly welcomes pets. Surrounded by scenic walking routes and the beauty of North Yorkshire, Aquarius Rising is an idyllic base for a memorable getaway. 

## Facilities

- **Dog Friendly:** Guests are welcome to bring up to two dogs with prior arrangement, at a fixed rate of £10 per dog, per night.
- **Accessibility:** Aquarius Rising features level ground-floor living spaces, steep staircases without stair gates, an enclosed courtyard, and a partially fenced garden.
- **Hot Tub:** The hot tub will be cleaned out and filled with fresh water on the day of your arrival. We endeavour to get it to temperature for your arrival.
- **WiFi:** This property has WiFi available.
- **Parking:** On arrival the large gravel courtyard comfortably parks 6-7 cars.
- **Smoking:** The property is strictly non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outside, however, please be respectful of the property.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** The heating is set on a timer and is adjusted by season. There are wall thermostats that can be adjusted. Logs are provided for the log burner.
- **Games Room:** The large entertainment room features a pool table and a disco ball. The property also features a cocktail bar with a handmade wooden bar.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** 65 inch TV with Sony sound bar as well as a Marshall sound speaker in the large entertainment room.
- **Outdoor:** Enclosed decking with hot tub, Swedish sauna, outdoor shower, large lawn for picnics, and dog-friendly walks nearby.
- **Sitting Room:** Spacious sitting room with plush velvet sofa, open fire, and 65-inch TV with sound bar.
- **Kitchen:** Open-plan kitchen with bespoke 12-seater table, marble island, large range cooker, and a private chef option. Perfect for cooking and dining in style.
- **Dining Room:** The kitchen centres around the bespoke 12-seater table built by the owner with seats reclaimed from an old London bus.
- **Bedrooms:** 6 bedrooms: Master with en-suite, freestanding tub, and rainfall shower; 3 with zip/link beds.
- **Bathrooms:** There’s a downstairs W/C, a main bathroom on the first floor, two en-suite bedrooms, and a further main bathroom on the second floor.
- **Sauna:** Featuring a Swedish wooden sauna: heat the coals, pour on the water, and unwind in pure relaxation.
- **Linen:** Bed linen, fresh towels and robes for the hot tub are provided.
- **Everyone Can Dine Together:** 12 seater dining table beside the kitchen. In the old school room there is also a 12 seater table which is the perfect entertaining space.
- **Children's Facilities:** There is a ping pong table at the property for kids and big kids to enjoy.
