Simple but comfortable accommodation makes this great value house perfect for gathering together family and friends - for holidays or weekends together, to celebrate a special event or just to reunite. The house also lends itself to corporate groups, with plenty of space for meetings and team building breaks. And Ardgour House is perfect for an intimate wedding celebration. Please note that we do not accept hen or stag groups. Dating from over 250 years ago, this house has some lovely period features, including a grand staircase to the upper floors. It also provides a well equipped kitchen, comfortable living space and a range of other facilities. These include an indoor heated swimming pool, an 8 person sauna, a billiards room and a games room for the children in the group - plenty to keep everyone entertained. Bedrooms include some 4 posters, doubles and twins - flexibility for any group, with a twin on the ground floor (and a bathroom too) for anyone for whom stairs may be a challenge. Outside the grounds are largely laid to lawn, with 2 lochs which can be fished in season. For any keen anglers, fishing for salmon and sea trout can be arranged nearby, on a daily or weekly basis. The setting of Ardgour House on the west coast of Scotland is nothing short of spectacular. With the coast and mountains offering a diverse local scenery, there are plenty of wonderful places to explore. There's a lovely beach just 1.5 miles away. Head to Ben Nevis for a challenging ascent, ski in winter and hill walk or mountain bike in summer, or take to the waters of Loch Shiel for a cruise to fully appreciate the special landscape. The area is rich in native wildlife, a wealth of outdoor pursuits can be accessed locally and golfers won't be disappointed either.   ## Facilities - **Dog Friendly:** We accept two well behaved dogs at the house. - **Accessibility:** No specific facilities but there is a ground floor twin bedroom, bathroom and separate wc. - **WiFi:** The house has WiFi and good mobile phone signal. - **Swimming Pool:** 10 metre heated indoor pool. Also 8 person sauna. - **Games Room:** Snooker table. Also children's play room with table tennis. - **Dining Room:** Seats the whole group of 22. Open fire. - **Sitting Room:** Ground floor sitting room with open fire, TV satellite and video. Seating area in the large entrance hall. First floor drawing room seating 22. - **Kitchen:** Well equipped with 2 electric cookers, 2 dishwashers, microwave, 2 large fridges, freezer, washer and dryer. - **Bedrooms:** 11 in total. 1 is on the ground floor. 1st flr: 3 doubles, 2 twins. 2nd flr: 2 doubles, 3 twins. - **Bathrooms:** Ground floor bathroom and wc. 3 bathrooms (2 with showers) on 1st floor. Shower room and bathroom with shower on 2nd floor, plus wc. - **Outdoor:** Extensive lawned gardens with ancient trees and many rhododendrons. Fishing on the lochs in season. - **Children's Facilities:** 2 cots and 2 high chairs available. Balance of rental will be due 12 weeks prior to arrival date. Check in from 3pm, check out by 10am. Weekly hire runs from Saturday to Saturday. Any damage must be paid for. Refundable good housekeeping deposit of £450 together with full guest list required one week prior to arrival.
