Located down a quiet lane, this is an idyllic location for friends or family to get together for a holiday or short break in the wonderful New Forest.
Living accommodation at Arniss Farmhouse is open plan with a lounge a conservatory and inside dining for 12 which can be extended to seat 20 + 2 if both properties are booked together. The undercover seating is a great place to sit back and take in the pretty surroundings whilst watching the children on the climbing frame and trampoline. The enclosed paddock is just the job for late night dog walks. There are 2 pubs close by too.
The kitchen is well set up for meal prep inside or out. Light the barbecue on the patio and enjoy al fresco dining. The 4 - 6 person hot tubs can be hired (extra charge) for your stay, fab for relaxing at the end of a busy day. Breathe in the countryside air and views with a cold drink. And the youngsters can head to the games room for a competitive yet fun game of pool.
The en-suite ground floor bedroom works for anyone less mobile. The combination of doubles, a twin and single beds is handy for a mixed age group. All are individually designed with attractive soft furnishings. Bathroom facilities are plentiful.
Self contained Arniss Lodge is single storey and open plan, with enormous picture windows and French doors. It provides 3 extra ground floor bedrooms, 1 ensuite, a modern kitchen, diner and lounge, and an outside seating area for barbecues in a private garden.
An en suite bedroom annexe that sleeps 2 can be added to the Farmhouse or the Lodge for an extra charge also the Shepherds hut that sleeps 2 with outside shower room.
There are hikes and cycle routes on the doorstep of Arniss Farm. The riverside town of Fordingbridge nearby is known for infamous pirate smugglers and a 7 arch Medieval bridge. Wander around and pop into interesting little shops or cafes. Theme parks such as Paultons Park, home of Peppapig, and Adventure World are within easy reach, as is the New Forest Heritage Centre and Beaulieu Motor Museum. Bournemouth beach is a manageable drive.
