Asheston Eco Barns are traditional Welsh stone farm buildings providing luxury WTB 5 star holiday accommodation in a sustainable environment. The barns have been rebuilt to the highest standard of finish while retaining the traditional character to provide a beautiful setting for a family holiday, whilst having a minimal impact on the environment. The five individual cottages all benefit from state of the art environmentally friendly technology including a wind turbine, solar hot water, geothermal heating and rainwater recycling.

They have features such as oak beams, natural slate, limestone floors, eco friendly clay paint and are furnished with antiques and log burning stoves.

Asheston Eco Barns offers a secluded and peaceful environment as it is surrounded by 22 acres of open fields and woodland. The Blue Flag beach at Newgale is only 3 miles away. The barns are located down a private 1/4 mile driveway and this provides a secluded and safe environment free from passing traffic for children to play. To the front of the barns there is a large grassed area for relaxing and playing. There is a wildlife pond which is fenced off to provide safety for children. There is also a dedicated enclosed children's play area with swings, a slide and climbing frame.

There are five barns so this makes them ideal for larger extended family holidays. Outside each barn has its own secluded landscaped area.

The Cart House – sleeps 6. This converted barn has an open plan kitchen/lounge/diner and 3 bedrooms.

The Stables – sleeps 7. This is the longest barn and has a 40ft kitchen/lounge/diner with a galleried landing and has 3 bedrooms.

The Barn – sleeps 4. This luxury unit has 2 large double bedrooms with en-suites.

The Grain Store – sleeps 6. This is a lovely, light, airy barn offering a double height living, kitchen and dining area.

The Cow Shed – sleeps 6. This barn has stunning views down the valley from the contemporary balcony on the first floor.

## Facilities

- **WiFi:** No landline telephone at present but orange mobile is the best signal. Wi-fi Internet access provided.
- **Accessibility:** In 4 of the barns we have ground floor bedrooms and wet rooms suitable for disabled access. There is level access from the car park.
- **Dog Friendly:** No pets allowed.
- **Kitchen:** Each barn has a fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons, including oven, hob, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher
- **Dining Room:** Open plan dining areas in each property and space enough for up to 14 people to eat together in The Stables.
- **Sitting Room:** Well appointed sitting rooms available in each barn.
- **TV and Music Facilities:** Digital Freeview TVs, DVD players and hi-fi systems with iPod docks available in each barn.
- **Heating and Open Fires:** Log burners each barn with free supply of logs. All heating is underfloor heating powered by geo-thermal heat pumps.
- **Bedrooms:** Range of king, double and single beds amongst the 5 barns.
- **Linen:** Linen, towels, tea towels all provided.
- **Bathrooms:** Luxury appointed bathrooms/wet rooms - 2 per barn. Hot water provided by solar thermal panels with immersion backup.
- **Children's Facilities:** Dedicated children's play area plus bag of outdoor games in each barn. Toys, books, games in all barns. Cots, highchairs, stair gates as standard.
- **Outdoor:** South facing grassed area overlooking the valley, patio and BBQ per barn. Fenced wildlife pond.
- **Parking:** Plenty of parking provided behind the cottages.
- **Smoking:** No smoking permitted in the barns.
