This holiday house in St Agnes is a lovely choice for friends and multi generation families wanting a proper beach holiday on the beautiful North Cornish coast. This lovely coastal house is really well equipped, homely and comfortable but doesn't compromise on modern conveniences. Located on a private drive, Atlantic House is a short stroll away from Trevaunance Cove, a sandy beach with rockpools and fascinating old harbour remains at low tide. St Agnes itself has 5 pubs and a range of restaurants, beach cafes, take-aways as well as bakery, grocers, butchers all within walking distance - and you can bring the dog.
The open plan living design creates a truly sociable space with a large oak dining table to enjoy meals together, and a comfortable conservatory lounge for relaxation and catching up. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite worktops. The alternative smaller reception/sitting room is ideal for anyone wanting 5 minutes to themselves or a quiet chat. Atlantic House, located in a wooded valley, has attractive landscaped gardens with 2 outside seating areas and a pretty stream that leads to the sea. That's how close it is.
The 5 bedrooms are a mix of a king, 3 doubles and a twin. The king size bed is a 4 poster offering a little luxury for one of the couples. All are individually decorated with splashes of subtle colour enhancing classy soft furnishings and views to the garden or woodland below. The 5 en suites offer 3 showers and 2 with indulgent double end baths with showers overhead. All have contemporary rainfall showers and a vertical jet feature.
Atlantic house is really all about the location. Proximity to the beach is a given but, for those wanting some serious surfing opportunities, award winning Perranporth can be reached in 10 minutes or Newquay in under half an hour. Guests can make the most of walks from the door along the rugged coastline maybe up to St Agnes Beacon or Wheal Coates Tin Mine. Drive to Redruth to visit Heartlands, the Cornish heritage mining site, or Truro and its historic attractions.
