Dog friendly camping bothy sleeping 12 in a fantastic lochside location for hill walking and celebrations, in the Highlands

Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends.
Badrallach Bothy, Dundonell, Garve, Scottish Highlands, sleeps 10-12 in 1 bedrooms.

Badrallach Bothy is a simple accommodation off the beaten track. It is often used by groups of hill-walkers as a base, to facilitate celebrations such as birthday and wedding parties, and for groups of families and friends simply wanting to get away from it all.

It's the location that really makes Badrallach something quite special. We are situated in a uniquely quiet and stunning location in the Scottish Highlands - An Teallach and the surrounding mountains rise out of the sea on one side of Little Loch Broom, whilst on our own side of the loch we have Beinn Ghobhlach which boast some of the best views in Scotland - as mentioned by many a hill walker! You can just as easily sit and watch wildlife on the loch all day or scramble in the mountains, or take a trip to the islands or Ullapool. It's a much slower pace of life here - and everyone invariably does relax a little when they visit!

The accommodation sleeps 12 comfortably, but can fit more if the guests are willing to compromise their personal space a little! Guests are required to bring their own sleeping bags and roll mats as the bothy is a one-room setup without beds, but with plenty of space for folk to lay out their gear.

The bothy includes a multi-fuel stove which is very handy in the winter time when temperatures can drop...and since the bothy and campsite at Badrallach are the only accommodations of their type open all year round in the area, it's even more handy! Wood is sold on site, mostly during the winter months. Guests are advised to enquire ahead during the summer time regarding the wood supply.

All-in-all the bothy is comfortable and cosy and has hosted many a warm and friendly get-together! Attached to the bothy is a simple kitchen area with ample space for food storage and preparation, and also male, female and disabled access toilets, along with two of the warmest, most powerful showers you're ever likely to come across in such a remote place! Tremendous news if you have come to the area to hike and explore!
