Set in peaceful, private surroundings in the heart of the 6000 acre Ballogie Estate in Royal Deeside, Ballogie House is an ideal retreat, for holidays with friends or family, for an intimate wedding celebrations, or for groups of golfers, fishermen, walkers and cyclists. Sleeping 14 guests, this special house offers generous, flexible accommodation perfectly suited to group stays and special gatherings.

Located between Aboyne and Finzean on the South Deeside Road, the house is perfectly placed for exploring the Cairngorms National Park. Activities abound: salmon fishing on the River Dee, hill walking among iconic Munros like Ben Macdui, and cycling routes including the Deeside Way. Golfers can access nearby Aboyne Golf Club, while whisky lovers can explore distilleries like Royal Lochnagar Distillery.

For those who prefer to simply unwind on site, there's a large enclosed garden with a hot tub, with views of the beautiful open countryside surrounding the house. It's somewhere special, too, to relax over a few drinks after a day out exploring. The ground floor features a welcoming drawing room and dining room, both with open fires and doors leading into a gorgeous bright orangery overlooking the garden and parkland. A large, well-equipped kitchen with an Aga and additional ovens makes catering easy, while a media room and games room with a snooker table provide entertainment. A ground floor double bedroom with en suite is a bonus for anyone preferring to avoid stairs. A boot room and additional shower facilities are also handy after outdoor adventures.

Upstairs, the spacious master suite includes a dressing room and luxurious bathroom, and sit alongside 4 further en suite double rooms, 2 adaptable twin/super-king rooms. All are individually designed with special features, and the flexible configuration of rooms works well for varied gatherings.

Ballogie Estate is within easy reach of the local villages of Kincardine O’Neil, Banchory and Aboyne, with the royal village of Ballater just 15 miles to the west, with a wealth of local visitor attractions and places to explore during your stay.
