Situated in a stunning elevated rural position in the White Peak area of the Peak District, The Barn at Benty Grange commands the most outstanding views of the surrounding countryside. Designed with groups in mind to provide the very best self catering experience in a beautifully renovated barn finished in a classic country style with a French/Vintage twist.

There are seven stylish en suite bedrooms which are ideal for 14 to 16 guests but offer flexibility and can sleep up to 20 guests (some are family rooms with bunk beds).

The fantastic open plan design has created a fabulous living and dining space which allows you to all gather together. Fitted with an oak kitchen finished in a classic French grey accompanied by a bespoke handmade 3 metre central island with additional seating. There is a full height fridge/freezer, an integrated dishwasher, microwave and all the modern conveniences one would expect. The kitchen opens out into the dining room which has a large table with chairs and benches providing plenty of comfortable space for a maximum of 18/20.

The property is in a perfect location for walkers, cyclists and families - in fact any large group that want to enjoy time together in one big fabulous barn. Within minutes you can walk to the popular Tissington & High Peak Trail where you will find a cafe and bike hire, or you can walk up the country lane to the the picture postcard village of Monyash or pop along the trail to our award winning pub. The spa town of Buxton is close by with its Opera House and theatre, and the popular market towns of Bakewell and Ashbourne are both within 20 minutes drive away. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Tissington Hall and Alton Towers are all within a half hour drive.

The Barn at Benty Grange is on a shared site with The Farmhouse at Benty Grange, but both properties having their own designated parking areas and fabulous outdoor space, allowing you privacy throughout for your stay.

Wifi is available via a satellite operation but due to the rural location this can be intermittent. You are unable to carry out downloads/watch films.

Open plan kitchen with a full height fridge/freezer, an integrated dishwasher, microwave and all the modern conveniences one would expect.

Large dining table with chairs and benches providing plenty of comfortable space for a maximum of 18/20 guests.

Sitting Room

Cosy lounge area with a comfy corner leather sofa at one end of open plan area, second lounge with further sofas and a log burner.

TV and Music Facilities

2 x 40 inch TV with full sky package ( 1 in the open plan living area and 2nd TV is in the second sitting room, ideal for children).

Games Room

A fabulous external games room with pool table, darts board table football and giant connect 4.

Heating and Open Fires

Heated with a ground source heating system. A log burner is located in the second sitting room. 1 x complimentary basket of logs supplied

7 individually styled furnished en suite bedrooms (3 of which are family rooms with bunk beds) which offer flexible sleeping arrangements.

Child/family friendly accommodation - cots/high chairs available. The house is so spacious there is plenty of space to run around inside and outside.

There is no swimming pool. The nearest is at Bakewell, 3 miles away.

Parking

Ample private parking. Parking for 10 cars on the drive but more by arrangement
