Exclusive hire of the site, 2-night minimum stay, 10 glamping units, barns, all facilities and tent campsite. Ideal for groups of 25 to 50 but smaller and larger groups are possible. Perfect for family and friends gatherings, birthdays and special occasions (including weddings, licensed for ceremonies).

Barnutopia is a hidden gem that's off the beaten track but easily accessible on country lanes (no dirt tracks). Located in Shropshire on the Powys border, the views are spectacular. Children love our ex-farm set-up. Adults love the peace and tranquility.

The Glamping Village offers a range of facilities including an event barn, indoor/outdoor Dutch barn, 3 kitchens, 10 glamping yurts and cabins, site-wide power and free WiFi. Outdoor spaces include the yurt field, the dell and a tent campsite with grass tent pitches (no EHU). Private car park for around 25 vehicles.

The event barn has tables, chairs, fairy lights, powered 600W bluetooth speakers and dance floor. Or book your own DJ and/or band. Campfires are permitted (fire pits and logs provided) under cover of the Dutch barn if the weather is poor.

Clean and functional bathroom block has ladies, gents, disabled and showers.

Farm pets are friendly and well-handled. We have 2 donkeys, 2 kunekune pigs, 3 cats and 2 dogs.

Rural yet accessible, Barnutopia is reached along B roads from Oswestry, one of the oldest market towns in Britain. You probably won't want to leave the site, but if you do there is hiking, multiple tourist attractions and activities within 10 miles of Barnutopia.

Dog Friendly

Very well behaved dogs welcome. We are surrounded by livestock. Dogs that worry livestock have to be removed immediately.

Free WiFi. Landline for emergencies. Mobile reception varies depending on network. EE, 3 and O2 have 4G.

Three well equipped kitchens with everything you need to prepare, cook and eat food. You may also ask us about catering or hire mobile caterers.

Dining tables and chairs in the main kitchen and event barn. Breakfasts to order in the farmhouse. Optional catered events.

Foosball table in cookhouse. Plenty of space, barns, stables for activities. Large event barn (aka the long barn).

Heating and Open Fires

Range of outdoor portable fire pits for camp fires or barbecues. Reasonable quantities of firewood provided free of charge.

Bedrooms

1 bunkhouse, 4 yurts, 3 cabins, 1 stable and a campervan. Sleeps up to 54 in beds and sofa beds.

Linen

Linen included and beds made up. Towels not provided.

Bathrooms

Bathroom block in converted stables with ladies, gents, disabled and showers. 4 toilets, 2 urinals, 3 showers. Stable Stephanie has en suite toilet.

Children's Facilities

Farmyard environment with animals. One travel cot available on request. Children love it here.

Outdoor

Pasture and farmyard environment with barns, stable block, pigsties and veg garden. Outdoor fire pits, garden furniture. Rural hiking from property.

Parking

Private car park for large groups with multiple vehicles. Minibuses and camper vans okay. Not suitable for coaches.

Smoking

Smoking prohibited inside the glamping accommodation and all shared facilities. Permitted outside in designated smoking areas.

Booking Information

Depends on season (low/mid/high), whether weekend or midweek and headcount. Small and large groups welcome.
Self-catering or catered by arrangement. Dogs accepted.
Late night event barn, bring your own alcohol.
