This is a great base from which to explore the fascinating Barunah Plains of Victoria, and destinations along the Great Ocean Road. The Shearers' Quarters offers relaxed and comfortable accommodation for family groups, friends' reunions, business events and wedding guests. Set within 640 acres of lovely grounds and gardens, it's a fantastic choice for an escape from busy lives, and the perfect environment for a teambuilding event for colleagues. Outside caterers are available. The kitchen is well set up for preparing large group meals and the dining area somewhere sociable to sit down together. Afterwards, relax on sofas next to an open fire (if it's chilly) to make plans for the next day. Or head outside, fire up the barbecue for al fresco meals and sit around the firepits with a few drinks. Children and adults alike can experience the joy of toasting marshmallows. In the summer, cool off in the nearby dam and explore the old farm buildings. There is a local walk along Warrambine Creek where there's a resident platypus, an opportunity to enjoy being out in the great outdoors and to take in the spectacular views of the Barunah Plains. The 16 bedrooms are flexible for a mixed group, a combination of twins, triples, doubles and bunks, something for everyone. Bathroom facilities are plentiful with 8 showers. Buses can be arranged to take guests sightseeing around the local area, to the Great Ocean Road and further afield.
