Sleeps 34: The Lodge sleeps 34 in 10 separate bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. 1 Kiwi Cabin with en suite which has 1 double bed and one bunk bed in it (up to 4 people in the room) Just 100m from the local beach and a range of bars and restaurants, yet in a quiet residential setting, the lodge is wonderfully sociable accommodation for a group stay. The beautiful Bay of Islands can only be described as the jewel in the Northland's crown, with Paihia a fantastic central base for exploring the 144 islands. Make the most of a wide array of watersports opportunities as well as wonderful coastal scenery. Shared facilities at Bay of Islands Lodge are top notch, with a large commercial kitchen for preparing group meals and an undercover outdoor seated area with picnic tables for barbecues. Relax in the lounge space on comfy sofas with SKY TV. 12 bedrooms offer a versatile mix of accommodation for groups with family rooms, doubles, queens and twins. The Kiwi Cabin is a special space with beds for 4 and especially lovely for a young family. All of the bedrooms benefit from en suite facilities. There is no shortage of things to do at Bay of Islands Lodge; Waitangi Treaty Grounds, New Zealand's most important historic site, is on the doorstep, well worth a visit. There are boat cruises available for visiting the largest island in the Bay, Urupukapuka – great for day walks, or just chilling on the beach and swimming. Or enjoy an island hopping experience. Sailing, kayaking and paddle boards are available nearby, as well as  snorkelling and diving the spectacular reefs.
