## About The Property

The Beach House in north Cornwall is a large, special and welcoming house, ideal for families, groups of friends and reunions, and a great base for exploring the delightful traditional Cornish fishing villages of the north coast.

The Beach House is tastefully furnished with spacious, comfortable living accommodation filled with light, and bedrooms sleeping 12 adults and 4 children. The dining room is large enough to seat the whole party, and there is lots of other ground floor living space allowing the group to spread out. At the end of a busy day relax in the conservatory, unwind in the sauna, play table tennis or pool in the games room, or enjoy a glass of something cold on the balcony with some of the best views in the country.

Outside there are several different secure areas for children to play, family and friends to eat together al fresco, and from which to relish the sea views. There is parking available for 7 cars.

The Beach House is set in a spectacular location overlooking the sea and just a couple of minutes from stunning beaches, in the village of Port Isaac, best known as the setting for the TV series Doc Martin. The village exudes charm and is home to a number of great restaurants as well as many artists and craftsmen. Nathan Outlaw's 2 Michelin star restaurant is just 100 metres away.

This part of Cornwall abounds with daytime activities for every member of the group. For the energetic, there are numerous water sports opportunities at Port Gaverne, Polzeath, and Rock, all within 15 minutes of the house, as well as golf. There are several National Trust houses locally, Padstow is a short boat trip away and the Eden Project is nearby for a great day trip. Wonderful walks with plenty of wildlife to see, including dolphins and sharks, can be found on the coastal path. Fishing trips can be organized to secure the freshest of dinners!

Just voted the Best Restaurant in Britain! Nathan Outlaw is just 100 mts from the Beach House.

Minimum stay is 7 nights in high season (July and August), 3 nights at other times.

- **Dog Friendly:** Maximum of 2 dogs accepted by arrangement, £50 per dog. Beaches in Port Isaac and Port Gaverne are both dog friendly beaches.
- **Accessibility:** Downstairs bedroom. There is a downstairs toilet and large open shower facilities for disabled guests.

- **Heating and Open Fires:** Central heating throughout, and wood burner in lounge.
- **Bedrooms:** On 2 floors. 4 doubles, 1 twin, family suite of double plus bunk, all en suite.
- **Linen:** Bed linen provided and all beds made up ready for guests. Bath and hand towels also provided.
- **Bathrooms:** 6 en suites with mix of baths and showers.
- **Children's Facilities:** Cots and high chair.
- **Outdoor:** Ground floor courtyard patio with barbecue and picnic benches. Balcony overlooking sea. Secure terraced lawns at rear of house from first floor level.
- **Swimming Pool:** Our pool is the sea just 300 mts. We do have a sauna.
- **Parking:** Parking for 7 cars.
- **Smoking:** No smoking please.

## Booking Information

- Friday changeover. ( This is flexible outside term time ) Guests welcome after 3.30pm, leave by 10am. £500 housecare refundable deposit. Minimum stay 1 week in June, July and August, 3 nights at other times.
