The Beamsley Project Charitable Trust has been welcoming guests for 28 years. Based in the Yorkshire Dales we offer self catering accommodation to groups and families who have additional needs, a base providing you the opportunity to tailor make your holiday to suit the needs of your group or family. Formerly the Beamsley Methodist Church, the centre is set within beautiful gardens just off the A59 Harrogate Road.

- Accommodates between 16 and 24 guests in 8 bedrooms over 2 floors, 2 with profiling beds. A lift from the ground floor ensures all areas are fully wheelchair accessible

- If you require any more space, there's a cottage next door for up to 6 people over 3 bedrooms and 2 floors, 2 with a profiling bed. This allows us to accommodate groups of up to 30 people

- 1 main bathroom on the ground floor with bath & shower, adult sized changing table with shower and ceiling tracking hoist. 2 further roll in wet rooms and 3 toilets on the ground floor. 2 first floor bedrooms are en-suite, one with a roll in wet room and one with a shower cubicle with shower seat

- Full catering kitchen with adjustable height hob and work tops, utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer

- Cosy lounge area with Internet TV and bubble tower, dining room to seat 30+ guests

- Langbar Hall, large relaxation area on the 1st floor, has games, table tennis, pool table and plenty of seating, available too for yoga or dancing. Induction loop available

- At no extra cost: hoists and slings, standing aids, shower chairs, commodes, cot sides, table risers and good grip cutlery available

- Our centre is self catering but we work with a number of outside caterers who can provide hot and cold buffets or full 3 course meals to suit your individual groups needs (extra cost)

- Level access from car park (about 10m from front door) with space for 15 cars. Ramp access to garden area to the back of the centre, which has a seating area and log circle. This is a shared area with the cottage (if you have not booked sole use). There's also a garden to the front with a fixed BBQ

Within 5 mins drive of Bolton Abbey, which has amazing walks along the river, fully accessible by wheelchairs and buggies. Within 15 mins of Skipton and Ilkley.

Dog Friendly

No pets except guide or assistance dogs.

Disabled Facilities

Specifically designed for a range of disabilities. Hoists, changing table, lift, profiling beds. There are bedrooms and bathrooms on ground floor.

WiFi

Emergency telephone. Mobile reception. WiFi throughout although due to age of building some areas are better than others.

Kitchen

Catering kitchen with adjustable height hobs & sink. Oven & additional grill, microwave, fridge & freezer, dishwasher, & hot water boiler.

Dining Room

Spacious dining room in the Centre to seat 30 guests. Facilities include toasters, microwave and warming cupboard.

Sitting Room

Very large lounge with table tennis, pool table and TV ample seating for large groups. Plus a separate lounge with smart TV & bubble tower.

TV and Music Facilities

Centre has large screen digital TV and DVD, separate smart TV in lounge. Both have freeview.

Games Room

Large recreational room in the Centre with pool table, table tennis, skittles, inside hockey.

Heating and Open Fires

Air source heat pumps and individual blown air radiators. Hall, lounge and 2 wet rooms have underfloor heating.

Bedrooms

The Centre has 8 bedrooms: 4 rooms have twin beds, 4 rooms have 4 single beds. The cottage has 3 twin bedrooms. 4 of these beds are profiling beds.

Linen

All bedlinen is provided and one set of towels is provided per guest.

Bathrooms

Large bathroom with ceiling hoist & adult changing table. 2 wet rooms, 4 separate toilets as well as 2 en suite bedrooms.

Children's Facilities

Cot, high chair, baby monitors, child-gates available. A wide selection of toys and puzzles in games room. Self contained garden.

Outdoor

Large quiet gardens and patio areas with barbecue and garden furniture at the front. Under cover play area.Large secure self contained garden at rear.

Parking

Parking for 8-10 cars, 4 mini buses or 2 coaches.

Smoking

No smoking throughout building.

Booking Information

Centre: £33 per person per night. Min use of Centre £528 per night, Min use of Centre and Cottage £726. Arrival days are Mon & Fri. Depart- Mon, Fri & Sun
£200 non refundable deposit required at booking and full payment 12 weeks prior to arrival.
