Over 20 years ago we lovingly converted Beamsley Methodist Church, which now offers you a base, so you can tailor your holiday or short break to suit the personal needs of your group. You will have sole use of the building which makes it perfect for rest and recuperation. The Centre accommodates up to 24 people over eight bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. Our main bathroom has an adult changing table, bath and shower facilities. In addition to 2 other wet rooms and 2 toilets Our full catering kitchen provides adjustable height hobs and sink and all the equipment you should need. Our dining area can seat up to 30 people. You also have the added value of a large multi-functional games room with table tennis and pool table.

The self-contained Cottage sleeps between 2 and 6 people in twin rooms, There is a cosy lounge, kitchen with adjustable height hob and sink, ground floor toilet, main wet room and a lift to ensure that the cottage is fully accessible.

There is ample parking and easy access from A59 Skipton to Harrogate Road. Open all year.

From the Centre there is good access along river-side paths and Ilkley Moor is close by, along with Emmerdale country and Bronte country. Also nearby is the charming market town of Skipton with its castle, canal and street market. Other attractions include Embsay steam railway, Thornton Hall Park Farm and Hesketh Farm Park, the Royal Armouries in Leeds, the National media Museum in Bradford and the National Railway Museum in York. In addition caves, a falconry centre and a steam railway are within 1/2 mile.

Very large hall in the Centre with table tennis, pool table and TV. Plus a separate comfortable lounge with smart TV.
Centre has large screen digital TV and DVD, separate smart TV in lounge. Both have freeview.
Emergency telephone. Mobile reception. WiFi throughout although due to age of building some areas are better than others
Large recreational room in the Centre with pool table, table tennis, skittles, inside hockey.
Air source heat pumps and individual blown air radiators. Hall and lounge have underfloor heating. Underfloor heating in ground floor shower rooms.
The Centre has eight bedrooms: four rooms have twin beds and four rooms have four beds two of which are en suite
All bed linen and towels are provided at no extra cost
Large bathroom with ceiling hoist & adult changing table. 2 wet rooms, 2 separate toilets as well as 2 en suite bedrooms.
Centre is specifically designed for wide range of disabilities. Hoists, changing table, lift, 2 profiling beds. All areas fully inclusive
Cot, high chair, baby monitors, child-gates available. A wide selection of toys and puzzles in games room
Large quiet gardens and patio areas with barbecue and garden furniture. Under cover play area. Large open field.
We do not have a pool.
Parking for 8-10 cars, 4 mini buses or 2 coaches
No smoking throughout building
No pets allowed except hearing dogs

Easily accessible on the side of the A59 Skipton to Harrogate Road. 2 miles from Bolton Abbey, 6 miles from Skipton or Ilkley. Half way between Blackpool & Scarborough, an ideal location for coastal

Booking Information

Centre: £25 per person per night. Changeover days are Mondays and Fridays.
Cottage: £70 per night for 2 people; £90 per night 3 to 6 people.
£100 non refundable deposit required at booking and full payment 12 weeks prior to arrival. No cxl after payment.
