This castle has a fascinating history, incorporating parts of a 17th century house and a Pele Tower into the Gothic-style mansion which dates from the 19th century. With huge rooms and spectacular features throughout, Beaufront Castle offers somewhere truly special for a celebration weekend with family and friends, or simply for a holiday with a difference. The Gothic details feature throughout the castle, from the stonework and stained glass stairway to the vaulted dining hall, where everyone can sit together for dinner around one large table - a magical setting for a celebratory dinner - and a billiards table provides opportunity for a little post dinner competition. The separate breakfast room is ideal for relaxed informal meals or snacks. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering, or for use by outside caterers preparing a feast for the group. Make yourselves at home in the impressive drawing room with floor to ceiling windows looking across the Tyne Valley, stretching towards Corbridge and Hexham. There is a large open fireplace, comfortable seating and enough space for everyone to gather. A grand piano takes pride of place for an impromptu performance by any budding pianist.
