A ground floor bedroom with adjoining wet room is a consideration for anyone less mobile and the Shepherds Hut in the garden next to the house offers an additional bedroom and extra privacy. A large hot tub in the pretty garden is somewhere special to relax and the games room perfect for some fun and entertainment. Even better, there is a pub just a minute walk away serving real ales and good pub food.
The kitchen is well set up for preparing group meals to be eaten inside or in the garden. Ask about hiring in a private chef to cook for a special occasion or celebration. There is no shortage of spaces for relaxing after dinner, in the traditional sitting room with large TV or the bright conservatory.

Beck Cottage is a great base from which to explore the New Forest. Fordingbridge is worth a visit with its charming domestic museum and locally sourced farm shop. The New Forest Water Park is just 5 minutes away and Rockbourne Roman Villa 10 minutes. A trip to the seaside towns of Bournemouth and Lymington is easily viable or opt for Portsmouth with its plethora of historic attractions. And there are great walks from the doorstep in the New Forest National Park, or walk up to Castle Hill and take in the stunning views.
