The Haybarn houses a shared games room with a table tennis table and the gallery where a group of 12 can get together for dining - by arrangement. Local caterers available.
Beechenhill Farm enjoys a fabulous position above Dovedale in the Peak District, with walks from the farm gate that explore the local area. These 3 family holiday cottages near Ashbourne are made for an extended family getting together for a break away or to celebrate a special occasion. Added extras include a Swedish wood fired hot tub and a sauna situated in a magical cave at the bottom of the garden, designed to make your stay luxurious, indulgent and relaxing after a day's walking or cycling. Pretty walled gardens with a pond and patios create great outdoor spaces for barbecues, family drinks as well as somewhere to allow the children to let off steam flying kites or playing on the seesaw and swing.
The Cottage by the Pond is a wheelchair accessible property, M3A rated with 2 ground floor bedrooms and an adjoining fully accessible wet room. This cottage works well for a larger family or 2 smaller families while the other smaller cottages are perfect for grandparents or anyone wanting their own space. Living accommodation is warm and comfortable with well equipped kitchens, dining areas and sitting rooms. The cottages make the most of original features including beamed ceilings and fireplaces, with relaxed seating areas and a cosy wood burner.
Bedrooms are attractive with king sized beds and wide reaching valley views. The Cottage by the Pond has the benefit of zip and links to suit requirements and generous bathroom facilities.
Utilise local food delivery service Sauced Here to get hold of the best produce for self catering. There are no end of good pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area. Beechenhill is family friendly with Peak Wildlife Park and Coombes Valley RSPB Nature Reserve close by for a day out with the children. Buxton and Bakewell are within easy reach, worth a visit for their historic attractions and museums.
