Holiday Rental for Groups of Families and Friends. The Beeches, Darley Dale, Derbyshire, Peak District, sleeps 5 - 10 in 5 bedrooms.

The Beeches oozes luxury, this 5 bedroomed property located on the outskirts of the village of Darley Dale and close to the towns of Bakewell and Matlock is the ideal base for family and friends to explore the wonderful sights of the Peak District.

There are 5 beautifully decorated bedrooms, which can all be made up as a superking double or twin; the master bedroom also has a double sofa bed and two further bedrooms have an additional single trundle bed, ideal to accommodate family groups. The property boasts 3 exquisite bathrooms, 2 of which are en suite. The shared family bathroom consists of large bath with pull our shower attachment, separate walk-in shower with massage facilities, wash basin and WC.

A large spacious living room with log burner is an ideal place to unwind after a day exploring the Peak District. The fully equipped designer kitchen is also a chef's dream to whip some culinary delights.

The outside space at the Beeches has a real 'wow' factor, with a patio area which flows around two sides of the property and offers two different seating areas, one with rattan soft seating and the other with a chimenea and a large wooden table, which can seat up to 10 guests. This is a lovely spot for some alfresco dining and to sit and relax and enjoy the glorious views. The large landscape garden also has a lawn area perfect for ball games, please note the garden is tiered so please do not leave young children unattended.

Please note unfortunately due to the location of the property, we are unable to accept hen/stag weekends or 30th birthdays.

Dog Friendly

2 dogs are allowed if pre-arranged - please keep them out of the bedrooms and off the soft furnishings. We do charge £30 per dog.

Fully equipped designer kitchen with an Aga, (2 cooking chambers, 2 hobs, warming plate) dishwasher, large fridge, pull out freezer drawer, microwave.

Dining Room

Spacious dining room with dining for 10 and up to 14 guests when using the extra table and chairs from the kitchen. Log burner and wall mounted TV.

Sitting Room

Spacious lounge area with corner sofa, 3 armchairs to relax and enjoy the view. Log burner, wall mounted flat screen TV with surround sound system.

TV and Music Facilities

TVs in all bedrooms, plus a large wall-mounted one in the dining area and a further one in the lounge. All have Freeview and HDMI facilities.

Games Room

Games room with pool table.

Heating and Open Fires

Central heating throughout. 2 log burners, 1 in the dining room and the other in the lounge. 1 complimentary basket of logs provided on arrival.

Bedrooms

5 bedrooms, all with options to be set up as a super king double or twin. With 2 trundle beds and a double sofa bed sleeps 10 adults and 4 children.

Linen

High quality linen throughout all bedrooms and beds made on arrival. Bath towel for each guest and hand towels in the bathrooms.

Bathrooms

3 luxury bathrooms, 2 en suite. The family bathroom has large bath and pull out shower attachment, separate walk-in shower with massage facilities.

Children's Facilities

2 travel cots and high chairs are available upon request.

Outdoor

Large landscaped garden with patio area, outdoor furniture, chimenea and BBQ - please bring your own charcoal and lighting equipment.

Swimming Pool

There is no swimming pool, however Matlock swimming pool is only a 8 minute drive away.

There is parking for 10 cars.

Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the property.

Location

Located on Darley hillside in a quiet residential position with stunning views of the dale below. Less than 10 mins drive to the towns of Bakewell and Matlock. Walking distance to Chatsworth Estate.

Nearest bus stop is in Darley Dale which is on the Transpeak route (Manchester - Derby) as well as other local bus routes including Matlock, Chesterfield and Chatsworth.
Matlock railway station is less than 3 miles away and Chesterfield railway station with direct trains from London is 10 miles away.
Conveniently located equidistant from the famous market town of Bakewell and the charming town of Matlock, both of which are only a 10-minute drive away.
There is a Golocalextra convenience store in Darley Dale and also a Co-op (3 minute drive away), both are open 7 days a week. The nearest supermarket is Sainsbury's just on the outskirts of Matlock.
The Grouse Inn on Dale Road North serves traditional pub food, and is a 5 min drive from the property. Also walkable - just remember you need to go back up the hill after your meal! Dog friendly.
East Midlands airport is 38 miles away (approx 1 hour drive) and Manchester airport 40 miles away.
