The living spaces at Beggars Barn are plentiful. The kitchen/dining/snug area is all open plan and works very well for large groups. The dining table in the kitchen can seat 20-22 for meetings, while the table in the formal dining room seats slightly smaller groups of up to 16 (although 14 is more comfortable). The breakout areas available include the Annexe, the large open plan cinema/games/party room area, the drawing room, snug area and dining room in the main house, the living space in the Summer House and, of course, when the weather is kind, all the outdoor living and dining spaces.
Most bedrooms have zip and link beds so beds can be made up as single or doubles. In total there are 20 beds in situ plus 2 luxury memory foam mattress beds in the sofas in the Annexe, and a further 8 Jaybe beds with ‘hotel-comfort’ mattresses can be added to bedrooms for additional guests if required.
Team activities can be arranged, the owners have a list of local activities and team sports and organisers – please request the list.
The property has plenty of on-site facilities to entertain business gatherings including an outdoor heated pool (mid April to mid October – or by arrangement for a supplement), hot tub, Arctic cabin with internal BBQ, outdoor BBQs, large fire pit, table tennis, pool table, hockey table, croquet set, badminton, football and net, giant Jenga, pool toys.
Beggars Barn is near the Cotswolds and between Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon – a central location in England ideal for bringing together groups from different parts of the country.
