Just 15 minutes from Dunoon, the pretty Botanic Gardens location is convenient with good transport links from Glasgow.
Benmore House offers a wide range of on site activities including forest adventure and a climbing wall, although a more tailored approach is possible for those who need bespoke experiences such as Duke of Edinburgh Award groups. Off-site sailing, water sports, walking, caving and mountain biking are also easy to organise with our experts at Benmore. The centre has excellent facilities for field work and follow-up indoor learning. Various rooms can be set up as classrooms or events spaces with projectors and interactive whiteboards. The lecture room in the main house doubles up as a games room in down time, with pool, table tennis and football, very popular with the youngsters. The common room is a great disco room for an end of course celebration and party.
Self catering is an option for youth groups although the in-house chefs are on hand if required, to organise buffet-style meals and packed lunches. Meals are eaten in one of two large dining rooms. Accommodation is a handy mix of dorms for 6 to 10 in bunks as well as some en suite twins for teachers or group leaders.
