Bicclescombe Grange, built around the turn of the last century, is furnished in a period style and has accommodation on three storeys. Situated on the outskirts of Ilfracombe, the main coastal resort on North Devon's beautiful coastline, and set at the end of a private drive within three acres of superb gardens, adjoining open fields and countryside. Bicclescombe Park, with its many amenities, sits at the end of the drive whilst nearby are the wonderful sandy beaches of Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde. We have a 40' indoor heated pool and hot tub and a games room with a full sized snooker table, dart board, table tennis and piano. There's a new 60" large screen television with all Sky's channels, free WiFi throughout the house and, for younger children, there are lots and lots of toys!

We also have a large modern kitchen, custom designed to cater for the needs of a large group or family get-together. Granite surfaces, marble tiles, solid oak furniture and stainless steel appliances, including a 7 burner range and an enormous American style fridge freezer which make this a wonderful place to cook. With high and low level seating areas, a large flat screen TV with Sky Q, an ice maker and even a large capacity wine cooler, it's also a great place to socialise, supervise children, or just sit with a glass of wine and watch the chef at work.

The grounds extend over many levels, with much of interest to find: ponds, waterfalls, large grassy areas for play, footpaths through the woods, and alpacas to meet!

With eight bedrooms the Grange sleeps 26 and is perfect for a luxury self-catering extended family holiday or for several families or a group of friends to get together. Or perhaps you are looking for a fantastic party venue to celebrate a 40th birthday, 50th birthday, or other special occasion. Or maybe you'd just like somewhere you can relax in style. Bicclescombe Grange will not disappoint. TVs in all bedrooms. Lounge and kitchen have Sky Q and full Sky package. 2 music systems, 3 WiFi speakers, 9 DVD players, 3 iPod docks, 1 VCR player.

Parking for at least 10 cars in the car park and several more along the drive if need be.
No smoking inside the property. Outside it's ok.
No pets allowed at the house.


On the edge of Ilfracombe, with shops, harbour & beaches. At the end of drive is lovely Bicclescombe Park with ponds, tennis, tea rooms & children's play area. 10 mins drive to glorious sandy beaches
Ilfracombe High Street is 10 minutes walk, the harbour 5 minutes further on. Barnstaple is the nearest big town, about 25 minutes drive.
The High Street is 10 minutes walk, or a couple of minutes in the car.
10 mins walk to the nearest pubs and restaurants. There is a huge choice within 15 mins walk or a couple of minutes drive.

Booking Information

Standard bookings arrive and depart either on a Friday or Monday and offer best value per night. Bookings run from 4pm on arrival day to 10am on departure day. A £500 cautionary deposit is required. We have a no smoking and no pets policy. We do not accept groups consisting solely of young adults.
