Birchwood Cottage, Aylburton, Forest of Dean, sleeps 2-20 in 5 bedrooms.
This stunning cottage boasts an open plan hand built kitchen with large range cooker, breakfast bar opening into a sitting room with seating area, and a stunning large lounge with L shaped sofa's with views across the River Severn. The lovely separate dining room with door out onto the garden can seat up to 20 people making it ideal for special occasions. The cottage also offers a further pantry with dishwasher, large fridge and separate freezer.
Birchwood Cottage has 5 bedrooms sleeping up to 20 with a mix of single, double, twin and bunk beds, and 4 bathrooms 3 of which have showers, and 1 has a bath and hand held shower.
The adjacent log cabin can sleep a further 4 people for larger groups in the summer months and has a small kitchen and shower room with French doors overlooking the deck and patio. Accommodation in the cabin is in bunk beds in one open plan room. Please note there is no heating in the cabin.
Set in 3 acres of beautiful gardens with spectacular views across the River Severn. There is a lovely sheltered outside sitting and barbecue patio area.
Hot tubs can be hired on request.
Birchwood Cottage is nestled in the beautiful countryside of the Forest Dean on the edge of woodlands offering lovely walks just outside the cottage, yet only 10 minutes from Chepstow, and 35 minutes from Bristol. The cottage is a mile from the local village of Aylburton which hosts 2 great country pubs.
Lydney is just a 5 minute drive away with a Tesco and train station. The lovely historic town of Monmouth is also only a 20 minute drive. The Forest of Dean offers a host of activities right on your doorstep from Go Ape, the Sculpture Trail at Beechenhurst, a cycle centre, canoeing and breathtaking walks along the River Wye.
A perfect peaceful retreat for any special occasion, stunning in the summer with nature literally on your doorstep, the cool stone floors and thick cottage walls. In the winter months it is cosy and warm and offers the most perfect venue for Christmas and New Year. Yet still close enough to walk to the village pub or sample some the lovely restaurants in Chepstow.

The prices based on renting the cottage with a max of 18 people. The cabin as additional accommodation on a pp basis. A security deposit is required. Check in for weekends is from 12pm on Friday and check out by 1pm Sunday or Monday. Mid week lets from Monday 3pm to Friday 10am.
